Pastor Adeboye Advises Vice President Osinbajo On Alleged Gang Up Against Him In Aso Rock...

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeem Christian Church Of God has asked Vice President Yemi Osinbajo not to be fazed by the snares of those unhappy with his rising profile, saying God who destined him to be part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration will sustain him.

Osinbajo had come under heavy criticism and allegations of fraud lately, with rumored crisis between him and Buhari..

Adeboye spoke on Sunday at a special service to mark the 20th anniversary of RCCG Province 7 headquarters (Faith Chapel), Abuja, Vanguards reports..

Taking his text from 1 Samuel 9: 18 and 19, the cleric likened the story of Osinbajo’s emergence as vice president to that of Saul who became king of Israel without lobbying for recognition.
Adeboye, who was represented by the Assistant General Overseer, Education and Training, RCCG, Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, said: “I prayed with him (Osinbajo) a few moments ago, and God made me understand that before this man became a vice-presidential candidate, he never thought he could get to that position. He was not a politician.
“But destiny is very powerful. If God destines you to be in a place even if 100 people are lined up before you, they will all be disqualified. If God is the one promoting you, he will sustain you there.”
While reflecting on the theme of the celebration: ‘The Next Level of Glory’, Adeboye called on Nigerians to be incorruptible in order to experience the dividends of the promised ‘next level’.

  3. Is it the Saul that God didn't really want but used to patch gap till David was ready, that Osinbajo is being called? Saul that has become a prototype for sermons where people are told why to calm down and wait for the Will of God? The Saul that God rejected how many chapters after he was picked but left him there to fill space, while David was anointed and trained right under his nose. Saul that the Spirit of God left, only to be replaced by an evil spirit specifically sent by God that gave him depression that only David's harp playing could lift. The Saul that acted like a madman, shamelessly chasing the teenager who served him wholeheartedly through the length and breadth of the country to kill him. The one that God stopped speaking to, so he felt forced to go to the witch of Endor. Or is there another Saul in the whole of 1 Samuel?

If you think you've heard something from God, you better calm down and ask exactly Him what He means. To prevent rejoicing over what actually warrants serious crying. God put someone in the category of "he never hesperedit" and someone is being called Saul (not David who also never expected it but was described as a man after God's heart), but you think it's endorsement?

    1. God bless you my dear. Ignorant and bible shy people called the follishness of the bible quote as a good message to VP. It is a very sad and irresponsble reference point. Thank you for the clarification.

  5. Some bad elements are the ones behind the recent false accusation against the VP. All the accusations and the video of Tunde Bakare came out false. Bakare said the video is 17 months old. I can understand that they want to play the role of opposition but they ain't doing it right.

APC is building army of voters through the N-SIP: Npower scheme, trader moni, CBN Anchor Borrower, school feeding etc.. From the scheme, sure votes will go to the party. But how is the opposition building voters for themselves--lies upon lies. Lies that are easily detected

  6. I think Baba is indirectly saying manage it o! Don’t resign. I am enjoying the peace the quiet from the RCCG senior pastor mafia. I’m sure he is also quietly laughing as God is dealing with the devil’s apprentice in his own coins.

  7. I don't know what this is all about. I didn't follow the fraud allegation again the VP.
However, if he is innocent God will vindicate him.

I respect Pastor Adeboye's pastoral ministry though I am not a member of their denomination. This does not mean he could vouch for anyone or not be wrong. It's only by yielding to the Holy Spirit step by step that we get it right.
We are but earthenware vessels in the hands of the Almighty God.
