Amebo Column - Smelling Mouth.

Please, if you are speaking to someone and they repeatedly squeeze face when una nor dey fight. Nor too shame to ask if your nziza scent don join locust bean provoke dem!

If na good news you break to dem and you see dem crying Make no mistake, it is NOT tears of Joy!. If you are the type who enjoys spicy meals, keep a breathe mint handy or just buy a handful of sweets and toss in your pocket or purse.

Don't take offence when someone offers you gum or breathe mint. It is either they wish to share, or you need it and they dont want to make you feel bad! Either ways, just collect ,you hear?

There are times when the mouth feels dry either because of dehydration or because you have not opened your mouth in a while. You can buy a packet of choco-milo, buttermint or kopiko. Trust me it helps!

It is even worse when the cultprits are people who like to 'whisper' and gossip the most.

And the uncles who like to french kiss, abeg do proper sanitation first! Don't turn it into kwareh when your woman carry mouth run. Go and brush or floss or gaggle with mouth wash before coming to stretch mouth! Marriage and relationship is not an excuse to lah behind in your hygiene!

Also not everyone likes the after smell of the toothpaste! So after freshning up, pop something sweet or nice in your mouth.

To the ones who nor fit comot kolanut for mouth 24/7, maybe na you and dem 'irunmole' go dey french kiss because i no just understand! Don't be selfish with your hygiene!

Once like that I woke up in the morning in my lodge after eating suya and not washing my mouth before sleeping. My very close male friend then was gisting with me when he got close the smell was bad he just said "ahhh D what did you eat last night your mouth dey oozz abeg go brush before I go complete wetin I dey talk go go go now. I went chikena. It's better than squeezing face ooo and gossip at my back say I get mouth odour when it was just morning bad breath.

We should all try and speak up lovingly in sensitive matters like this to the person instead of keeping quiet.

  7. Remember when one guy was asking me out while talking on phone he was always specific about how he likes kissing very much and the lady breath must be refreshing, that he detests bad breath. Indirectly telling me bad breath was a deal breaker kept on going hard on it. So after a long time of talking over the phone we decided to hang out at his place got there hosted nd all time for kissing came naso guy man mouth dey ooze like gutter couldn't even pretend told him I was leaving he kept asking y i told him there nd then that his breath was bad he in turn said it's cos he brushed his teeth not long ago. Like really what a lame excuse promising me next time won't be like that again. That was the last time he saw me, after forming neat man finish

    2. Since her sneeze smells too, then it's not just bad breathe. Hers is very likely a disease.

  10. There was a classmate I had in secondary school. Till today, I feel very bad when I remember that I never told her she had mouth odour, and this odour isn’t as a result of bad hygiene, she is a very clean/neat girl.
I hope she has become aware and has done something about it.

    3. See a dentist ASAP. There are so many things that cause bad breath apart from not washing the tongue properly and eating certain foods.
Even tooth problem, tonsil stones cause it.
It could even be from your gut, in which case you might need to detox.

    4. Barring any health issues, use a mouthwash twice a day. I do and I don't even have bad morning breath.

    5. If you can, buy celery and blend it with a little water, sieve and drink it first thing in the morning. If you can also get moringa juice, do them together. The celery is a detox and will flush your system. This will help kill the bad breath up to 70 percent, do it at least 4 times a week, if not every day. Also brush your tongue and back of your tongue with just toothbrush before using toothpaste.
