  2. Olaide, you will pull through. God’s wisdom on you I pray. No one deserves to be in an abusive marriage,no one. Better to be far away from such being who abuses one emotionally or otherwise. Stay strong Olaide. You are loved.

    6. I believe her totally, cos my own marriage was exactly like this, human beats the loving daylights out of me,and as I was the first of 5 girls and first to marry ,I didn't want to leave so it wont affect my younger sisters. Long story short , the day my head was used as drum against the wall, maim I carry my 2 kids run, at first he came to beg like he used to before but when he saw that I was determined never to come back. Bu then I have decided that shame is better than death, guy man turned 360 degrees and told me that I should bet him ,that by the time he finished with me, that I will not amount to anything in people's eyes.

He went to work, overnite, me that he knew can never cheat as I am not that kind of woman ,I became a prostitute, he told everybody that cares to listen to him ,how I jump from man to man, he told them I never cook in the house , how I was a very bad wife that he was managing, that I visit dibia like no man's business eh, when I heard the stories making the rounds about me ,I was dumbfounded, and I called him, I asked him why he is spreading such stories about me. He said I should come back if I dont like the stories, that i should come back. I have previously left Like 3 times and he begged and I came back before this last one, I told him that his anger issues will not kill me, no way ,I didn't go back ooo. People that believed him did. He remarried and same thing, the woman ran. So leave it ,some men cant take a wife leaving them, they will want to damage the woman's name.
      M
No matter what he spreads, dont fo backing he's an abuser cos they never change

    1. Leave the Devil out of it. You think Devil is that invested in anyone's marriage? Now, you take up blaming physical abuse on the Devil, is it not a man she married, and is it not that man who laid hands on her? Let Satan rest where he's at, he is not as interested in our lives as most would like to believe.

    1. Na real wa ooo...marriages these days it’s only God that will save women and what they go through in the hands of some men. We went for a gathering yesterday and the women created their space and started sharing their experiences, the ones going through domestic violence, the one with inlaw wahala, the ones with verbal abusive husband, the ones with a serial cheater... i learnt a lot yesterday. it’s not easy at all, after everything a woman does to keep her home and she still has to deal with different dramas...

    2. @ Mummy MAA, and you think men are not also suffering in marriages too?

It's only on this blog that believes all women are saints. Funny thing is that it's still here we read of women coming under Anonymous, talking about how they constantly cheat and lie on their husbands.

What makes you people think that when a marriage breaks down, it must be the man's fault?

Sadly, even when a woman is a well know whore and the man is a saint, whenever the marriage breaks down, she simply cries "domestic abuse" and the whole world will turn against the man.

You people should leave abeg. Just as how there are many women suffering in marriages, there are also many men suffering in their marriages.

      Suffer doesn't have a gender.

  11. The easiest tag on women is “She’s cheating, ask her about her sugar daddies” This automatically shifts attention from the man and his many woes. If the woman is pretty and a known face? Ah, She must be guilty.

    1. But some women really do cheat, same way men do. Don't turn this to a gender war.

    2. @Iphie Dearie, the easiest tag on a man is "He regularly beats me, and he brings other women to our matrimonail home". This automatically shifts attention from the woman and her many woes. If the man has a rugged look and a known face? Ah, he must be guilty...

Since its now a gender war
