Hello Stella....

I just want to bring this to your attention especially for bvs who advertise their wares on your blog. I usually patronise some of them and I never had any issues up until recently.


Some of these sellers display items they do not physically have to sell,what they do instead is to sell a totally different product to you. They upload pictures from wherever and claim they have it to sell.


I ordered a wig from a wig seller I saw her advert in-house news of August 28th. You know the case of getting a different item from what u saw online,thats the problem here. The wig she delivered is completely different from what she advertised. I paid her money including delivery charges complete but I am so disappointed with what I got. I had my doubts about this very transaction but I only went ahead because I have ordered for items on this same blog from sellers and never had any issue. 

I really dont know how you can vet these kind of sellers. I just wanted you to know what is going on. 

The reason I didn't make trouble with her is because I don't live in Nigeria,it was my hubby who had an event in Lagos that helped me to pick it up from her. I can't even return it back to her as my hubby is on his way to meet me. According to her,she asked me to give a hair stylist to stretch it out for me so it looks like the original picture and that she has never had any complaint from any blog visitor except me. I have asked my husband to give a hair stylist today and the stylist told me the wig cannot be like the wig in the picture because they are both totally different. So am kind of stuck with it now.
Just let her know that what she is doing is wrong,she may not be lucky next time and get away easily.

Madam wig seller i will not be advertising for you again until this is sorted out...I feel so bad...And to think that you really needed customers to change your situation and you do this?what a pity!!

I thought I was abnormal but your write-up gave me a huge relief that I am not a problem. Here is my story:


I am not the first nor the last amongst my siblings. I was the first to get married. When I got married, our last born was still in primary school. The only vivid memories I have of him then is how he snitches on us and how he was dearly (an understatement actually) loved by my mum. Of course we took it as a norm, being that he is the last born.

Fast forward to many years later, I left my marriage and returned to my parents' house with my kids.


The marriage was their idea so they couldn't send us back since I could no longer 'patch' it.


I came with an open mind. I and my kids cook and ensure the house is tidied. I also didn't relent in my search for a job. Also learnt a skill. Unfortunately I am yet to get a breakthrough. I was always excited to be around our last born (in his very late 20s now).


My dear brother repeatedly found a way to insult me - both direct and indirect. I observed the partial treatment from my parents but I decided to ignore all, it extended to my kids, and they complained. I asked them to ignore that it is a phase that will pass. They shelter us and feed us but hubby is responsible for the kids upkeep and school fees.


Imagine my dear brother dragging 2 fingers of plantain his little niece wanted to fry to take to school. I asked her to give it up for him and he shamelessly fried it and ate. Imagine my dear brother telling my kids to go to their father's house. Trust me, this is the least of the treatments he has meted out on us. He is doing his business and earning for himself. I remember helping him out with little cash to do something when he lost his job, he is yet to pay back and I am truly not bothered.


I am not the type to ask for monetary assistance, no matter who you are or how bad the situation is. I am always contented with the little I have.


My parents know about our issues but choose to ignore and resentment for my brother and mom has sky rocketed. I doubt if I can go back to loving them like I used to.


Initially, I was always complaining to my other siblings but they later got tired of my complaints and saw me as a confusionist and an ungrateful person, so I stopped complaining.

Little wonder they say "once you don't have money, whatever you say at a family meeting sounds as if you're causing confusion"!

They forgot so fast how welcoming I was to them when they visit my home. They preferred my home to my other sibling's cos I would rather serve you in my house than you serving me. And I was slow to anger.

The times my mom visited them, they had their fights with her too, that one of them had to tell her to her face that she now understands what I am going through. If she could act that way in my sis' house, how much more in her own home.

My parents - mom especially, is the type who will find ways to remind you of the things she's done for you and how she has eaten only my #15,000. Of course I have spent more than that on her but for the fact that she's now feeding and housing my kids and I, it's only #15,000.


Now, my dad has offered me a shop to start something. He will fund everything. I am not excited. I am scared that they will always find ways to taunt me with it. I am scared that I won't have a voice in the house, especially when things are not going right. I am scared that I will be walking on egg shells, around them. I am truly afraid and honestly would choose a 100k salary over their offer. Anything to take me far from them.


Dear Bvs, please say a prayer for me to make the right decision in this regard.

In all, I am raising my kids equally, so as not to sow resentments in their hearts. I pray they grow well and not pick the negative vibes from my family. So help me God.

I am here to share my testimony. I have been TTC for a year, I came here to rant about seeing my period sometimes in July. Many Bvs encourage me with kind words and prayed for me,that menses will be the last until I deliver my baby next year. Indeed, God answers our prayers, the pregnancy test came out Positive.

*Home remedy to prevent toilet infection*

Do you ask yourself why you keep treating infection very month?
Do you treat your toilet as you treat yourself?
All you need is just one ingredient
Get some unripe lime

Extract the juice from the lime, put it in a spray bottle and use it same way you use germicide/disinfectant for your toilet.

And always remember to use it if a visitor uses your toilet
Your children potty need it too... Very important.
Dey never born that Infection well.


Also, don't forget to have it in a small bottle in your bag and always use it when you use other people's toilet or a public toilet.


When washing your toilet sprinkle some salt or baking soda around your toilet bowl. Wear a cleaning gloves and using the flesh side of the half lime, scrub beneath the rim and the area where the water reaches and use the toilet brush to scrub thoroughly and deeper into the bowl.


Add baking soda to the lime to get effective White results.

Rinse by flushing the water.

But if you think already have an infection, please make sure you treat it thoroughly.




I prefer to buy the already processed ones which have different fragrances....I cant be feeding lime into the toilet abeg..lol
