He said they should not bother to leave Nigeria if they are owing workers as they would be embarrassed with picketing anywhere they go.
He spoke on Ben TV in an interview, saying his group would continue to hold Nigerian politicians accountable for the services they were elected to render by the electorate.
He said governors in Nigeria who have refused to pay their workers’ salaries, but travelling aimlessly across the world would be stopped from doing so.
“Very soon, any governor who has not paid salaries will not come abroad anymore. If you owe salaries you’re not allowed to go abroad anymore. “You bank teachers’ salaries, you bank the salaries of pensioners, you cannot come abroad anymore.
“So this is just the beginning. “We’ll not attack them. We’ll just ask them questions. It is called picketing. It’s allowed within the ambit of democratic rules. “So, if we see you, we’ll ask you what you’ve been doing with teachers’ salaries, nurses’ salaries and why you’ve not been paying people and what are you doing here? “Any governor owing workers once we catch you abroad you’ll tell us what you’ve been doing with the salaries you’re supposed to pay.
“There’s no time on this earth that any process of agitation will be palatable for everyone or easy for everyone to buy into. When Nnamdi Azikiwe was campaigning for Nigeria to be free from colonial rule, he was sent to prison.
“Many people felt he was radical and declined to associate themselves with him. But in the end, he succeeded in freeing Nigeria not knowing that we are jumping from the frying pan to fire.
“Awolowo was the same thing. He was a firebrand. Many people didn’t like his approach from the beginning, but on reflection and review of what he did and how he managed to accomplish them, people have come to understand that he meant well for his people.
“So, now that these things are happening, most people would not appreciate it, but I’m sure that in many years to come, historians will look back to what’s happening today.”
Kanu’s group last month in Nuremberg Germany humiliated former deputy senate president Ike Ekweremmadu.
Kanu now said the attack was a family matter that would be settled in a family way.
from pmnews.
This confused guy, talking from both sides of his mouth.
ReplyDeleteSo you have back down from attacking them, what changed now.
What concerns you about teachers salaries, is that part of secession too?
Ekweremadu attack is now a family matter that will be settled in a family way.. 😂
People following this guy need a brain examination, I don't know how a normal and rational thinking human being can call this guy a leader, I see a delusional and confused guy here, nothing more. 😂
A friend of mine, a long time friend unfriended me recently when he insisted I must become a member of Biafra because they will conquer my state when they take over. I only told him I don't understand what they stand for and I don't believe in violence. The anger this guy vented at me was unbelievable. I now believe he has mental problems. I pray they will be able to undo the hatred this guy is spreading.
DeleteKanu don miss road. He missed his way the very moment he told reporters that he was not gonna play politics before the Anambra election. I keep saying this because that's where he botched his chances of turning things around.
DeleteIf he had managed to win Anambra by anointing a candidate different from APC PDP and APGA, IPOB can then ensure the winner performs well, so as to woo other SE states into IPOB fold during the 2019 elections. By the time 5 state govt, state and federal HOA members in your pocket, asking them to pay salaries and pension would be easy. That way, he can buy support across the region in the country to form strong youth alliance to cause paradigm shift in our politics.
But he chose to pitch tent against the Fg. Controlling 5 states is referendum on its own, same as Tinubu has his grip on SW, except Oyo that just slipped away. Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Kashmir, Taiwan, Catalonia, all want freedom from the main country but they maintain a certain degree of political participation. But Kanu wanted a war. I saw a video where he asked for funds to buy guns. No reasonable govt would treat such with kids gloves

ReplyDelete“So, now that these things are happening, most people would not appreciate it, but I’m sure that in many years to come, historians will look back to what’s happening today.” I thought awolowo was the devil..lols
When a confused coward is deep into his madness, what do you expect? More madness. I pity his sadistic and super extreme confused followers. Brain in the butt.
DeleteNa so oh, he is now trying to use a Yoruba leader to validate his actions and garner sympathy. Why Igbos cannot leave those Yoruba people alone just beats me.
DeleteIts good people can now see through their antics-they really need help.
Hehehehehehhehe my brother tell them o, let them pay workers, coward or not🤣🤣🤣🤣
ReplyDeleteNnamdi I wu aturu
ReplyDeleteDignified Aturu
Biafra was there before you showed up on the scene
Biafra was there after the agitation for secession
After the physical war and agitation the Biafra brand evolved to an enlightened dignified brand championed by CHIEF Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu
Ojukwu was enlightened..articulate...didn't spread hate...cordinated his thoughts on the cause he belived in
BLOODY OPPORTUNIST Nnamdi is a charlatan who hijacked the cause for personal aggrandisement
YOU DO NOT HAVE THE QUALITIES OF A SANE LEADER
CHARLATAN you will NEVER lead the Igbos
Anuohia nwuru anwu
Agboro motor park!
