It is not today women are in disadvantaged positions. It is well with we women.
ReplyDeleteWe are always a conqueror
Are you a woman?
DeleteFact 2, women had really suffered. God bless those that fought for our freedom.
ReplyDeleteDo women support other women? In Nigeria, the first woman to contest had only one vote despite being encouraged by other women including icons and mentors. She had only one vote-hers.
ReplyDeleteI find it amazing when women say they r not feminists bla bla bla. They don't realize women fought for rights to vote, if not for those women, I will not be online, will be unable to read or write. They feel feminism is about cooking and household chores. Ignorance everywhere
ReplyDeleteIts about everything, you see it at a bigher level doesnt mean limiting women to household chores is also part of the struggle of feminism
DeleteUmu nwanyi......we don suffer
ReplyDeletewow wow
ReplyDelete@fact2...nothing has changed, as hillary Clinton lost to trump on same way. @fact1...may the Lord's peace brings healing to the traumatized ones.
ReplyDeleteFact 2..women.
ReplyDeleteFact 2 is about true feminism not the nonsense we see nowadays. It saddens me when when I see people especially women making a mockery of what feminism stands for. In Nigeria feminism is anathematized by the women themselves, just remember the next time you criticise feminism, some women fought and died for the freedom you now enjoy and see as a right. It wasn't always so, some women fought for it and sadly most didn't see it manifest in their lifetime.
ReplyDeleteNEXT TIME YOU CRITICIZE FEMINISM, JUST REMEMBER SOME WOMEN FOUGHT FOR THE FREEDOM YOU NOW ENJOY AND SEE AS RIGHT. Word.
DeletePlease shout it out on the roof top so a lot more young Naija women can hear these truths: power is never given freely on a platter of gold. It is wrestled for in every realm, if progress/changes to society must be made. Nawa
