  2. Classic example of "my people perish for lack of knowledge"
Even our saviour did not fast unto death so why should you fast till you die from malnutrition?

  7. I did 3 days dry fasting once, and i couldn't lift up my hands or take a step, Objects started getting dim, my head started spinning.. At a point i couldn't even continue with the prayers, i was just lying down and imagining food i will eat when i'm done, after that period, i knew fasting is not for everybody

Then someone went to do 20 days? 🙄🙄🙄🙄. R.I.P pastor

    2. That is how my mil kept saying I should fast when I was pregnant.I just ignored her, the God I serve knows my condition and will answer me If I pray.

    3. Anon that your mil does not mean well for you. Please keep her at arms length and pray that she repents.

  8. My pastor always mentions the need to fast with sense. Always take water even if it's to keep you hydrated. What use is it to fast just to prove a point of 'spirituality' if you just end up with health challenges. Abeg wisdom is profitable to direct.

    RIP to the dead man

  13. if the holy spirit instructs you personally to do this number of days he will equip you. am sure it was a dry fast if not my church does 21 days yearly and we are good. even then they emphasise that pregnant women and those sick or taking medication do not join.

  17. All this story tells me is that this man did not have any person that loved him in his life.

You cannot enter fasting if your body is already malnourished, undernourished, or you have health problems. Fasting can help to train you to develop a stronger character and resistance to temptation. It can also help you to heal your body. However, like everything else life changing that you are going to embark on, do your research.
