This her write up is everything π she nailed it, southy are weak if they ain't they should challenge Nigerians with hardwork
ReplyDeleteThe things we intend to do to shop rite and co is what hausa do when a northern person is killed in onistha we should condemn voilence and not support it simply because it not our country men the same thing southaftricans are doing is the same when we said ghana must go and no ruga we will only be appreciated if we appreciate ourself
DeleteShe did not nail anything
DeleteAs usual, some people refuse to see the truth because they hate the bearer. Mumuni Alao.
DeleteGenevieve's words are deep and only discerning people can understand.
They've shown us countless times who they are. let's believe them.
ReplyDelete#Deep
Long live π³π¬
ReplyDelete"Some people don't like you just because your strength reminds them of their weakness. Don't let the hate slow you down."
ReplyDeleteNo truer words had ever been said than this. I am encouraged.
If our strenght as ‘individuals’ can’t translate into strenght (economic, social, political, cultural) as a ‘nation’, I wonder what use our strenght is!
ReplyDeleteWhen they see us, they see a nation that is lax and has little regard for the welfare of its citizens. It’s on that basis that they throw garbage at us, the strenght of one Hassan, or Bode, or Chukwuma won’t stop it.
Gbamest jor
DeleteThank you. This saying doesn't relate to this issue at all. As a nation we show no strength and that is why they have the effrontery to do what they are doing.
DeleteMythic u need WISDOM AYO understand what she wrote. You as an individual r u not doing well? Y haven’t u been as successful as u should have? Because of our leaders
DeleteExactly my thoughts Mystic. Well said
DeleteWell-done mama for these words.
ReplyDeleteThey are all small minded bigots
ReplyDeleteI love Genevieve Nnaji, even though she comes late to the party sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI have noticed she doesn't mince words whenever she's speaking about issues that affect other people (the masses)
She actually spoke like a true Nigerian that doesn't care about endorsement deals and frivolities.
Bravo Genny, ππΎππΎππΎππΎ
People will always support the larger crowd with the wrong mentality cos they are lazy to think for themselves or speak up!!! You can't come to my house, live in n still wanna take over and you think i won't fight back!!! Nigerians in South Africa should learn to milk the land silently n syphone it without showing off about how much i have attained affluence via the siphone!!! Its a simple psychology thingy!!! LEARN TO STAY CODED IN ANOTHER MAN'S LAND HENCE THEY FEEL YOU WANNA TAKE OVER!!!
ReplyDeleteThat asides sef, they should all come back n let us vent the anger enmass on out politicians!!! Once we fix home, no one will kill us like animals out there cos the Naija government itself does not value us at all!!!

ReplyDelete"They should come back home", what about south Africans in Nigeria? Should they go back home too?
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree that everyone should develop his or her space/country and not burden countries/people that have made it good for themselves, the human nature is fluid and there will always be migrants. Lazy hosts should stop blaming hardworking settlers/migrants for their personal misfortunes.
Genevive made a valid point. That said, it's time we go beyond social media posts and pull our individual strengths together to back Advocacy and human rights group to demand a responsible and responsive leadership which upholds justice fairness, protection of every citizen's rights.
ReplyDeleteFG and Nigerians must tackle Xenophobia head on!
The Bv that mentioned Ghana Must Go, did Nigerians kill Ghanaians?
We are not a perfect people but we are very hospitable to foreigners more so our Black African neighbours.
Please, don't sow seeds of discord.
ReplyDeleteIs South Africa a frenemy country (YES)- Xenophobia is a way of showing it. Dont take our hospitable nature as weakness. Buhari you can do better.
Nigerians are condemning the killings of Nigerians in South Africa, how many South Africans are condemning this barbaric xenophobia act. Few, does this signify that their silence serves as a go ahead - Yet you see the likes of Toke Makinwa in South Africa and the likes of BN promoting their entertainers.
Mandela did the neediful to put his house in order, it is time Nigerians put their own house in order. South Africans have shown us who they truly are over time and when will xenophobia end.
The truth needs to be said - It is time Africans address this issue. and South Africans are made to pay for their evil acts. Nigerians have foreigners in their mist and we go round killing them, infact it is the other way round, the foreigners at times maltreat Nigerians in our own land and the FG does nothing to protect its own citizens..
It is time President Buhari takes a cue from Ghana Government, Ghana must go, fixed her country and it is not too late for Nigerian leaders to learn from her.
