The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Godswil Akpabio along with Mrs Didi Walson-Jack,the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs had a meeting with some ex-agitators of Niger Delta under the umbrella of Youth for Peace and Development in the Niger Delta in his office in Abuja on Friday, August 23, 2019....

Akpabio played a very vital role in the ousting of the ex CJN Justice Walter Onnoghen having known that APC will never get away with any electoral fraud in the 2019 general elections at the supreme court. Being a former PDP senator, He leaked so many vital information to the ruling government in exchange for his prosecution. He knows too well that PDP will rely solely on justice at the supreme court, so he did what he did that gave room for the hasty removal of the CJN in the build up the general elections.
ReplyDeleteHow do you explain it that a man with 108billion corruption case was made a minister? Funny enough, his prosecutor made a junior minister under him. Where is the integrity in all this? By right are people with questionable character or accused of corruption be given a national appointment?
Nigeria can never be redeemed.

Those militants are lazy bunch because they depend on amnesty allowance, the reason they hardly hustle or do well except few of them who have sense. Most of them used the money in smoking, drinking and womanizing before month end they become broke again. Some of them are into bunkering at the moment while some are the kidnappers terrorizing the state. So why should government be funding them?

You are speaking from experience and you believe I am speaking or residing in Abuja abi? Do you know I was born in Rivers state and currently still living in the state? I have over five of them whom I know staying very close to me. I was even given the form by one of them then but I declined. I see what they do and their lifestyle. Only few did well. Lets not just argue this dear.

ReplyDeleteDo you know how the Amnesty program started and by who? Did you know the reasons for it then? Was it achieve? Has it stop crimes in the creek by the militants? Is the Niger Delta region any better today?

DeleteI typed a long piece detailing how the amnesty program started, Niger Delta volunteer force by Asari. Tompolo and his activities. How some of the militant were sent to Malaysia. Militancy in creek and all you need to know about the monthly stipend of 65,000 given to these guys as amnesty but it all wiped away. Can't type such long piece again today, maybe tomorrow to educate you more.
