Why are they all dressed in English outfits. What happened to using local fabrics to make lovely and suitable outfits. Na them go still talk about developing our local content.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering exactly the same thing. What's with all the fascinators? Like they're heading to a poor imitation of the Royal Ascot or to Windsor or something. The lady standing at the back row of the first picture looks quite elegant in her native fabric.
Deleterubbish, so they wore English today is that an indication they dont wear other days? is that the crux of the matter? so to encourage local production means you must wear ankara everyday? do you know the fascinators are locally made? do they all wear english to the weddings they attend on weekends?
DeleteGood for them
ReplyDeleteAnon 12:39, you are just rambling and totally missed the point. We are talking about outfits for swearing into government positions in a Nigerian state. Nobody is talking about outfits for other days or events. Please stay focused.
