Just pay workers their salaries and stop this nonsense.
ReplyDeleteSharrap! Is this old woman not a citizen of Nigeria? Moreover it’s her husband that pays salaries not her.
DeleteShe is diverting state funds. Misplaced priorities ...
DeleteYou cannot claim to be charitable when you are not giving people what they have earned.
You too shut your own smelly mouth. Elections are around the corner and this cheat gesture is all she can muster in attempt to salvage her husband's reputation in the minds of Kogi people.
DeleteThe people who have commited suicide and worse in Kogi state due to the artificial poverty institutionalised by her husband, are they not citizens?
Good one, you people keep using our money.
ReplyDeleteGood
ReplyDeleteHow about Kogi Civil Servants?
Election is by d corner, yesterday na 1 million naira for painting, today na house, tomoro go be she buy Keke and bike for homeless boys.why was she not doing this since?huh? Now that election is close by we no go hear word again.

ReplyDeleteNot with what she's watching her husband do.
DeleteIyawo Governor God bless yaa...
ReplyDeleteGiving peanuts to a few in the last minute to win votes
ReplyDeleteWhen will Nigerians learn. And this whole charade is just for
the cameras. They will collect everything from this woman when
the chips are down. Have we not seen this movie before?
Good post. I learn something new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon everyday.
ReplyDeleteIt's always helpful to read articles from other authors and practice something from their sites.
👀👀👀👀 electioneering things 🤷🤷🤷
ReplyDeleteGod bless u ma
ReplyDeleteI hate seeing old people suffer
God please bless me to bless others
Hajia Bello, May God give you your innermost heart desire for your kind gesture towards this old woman. Whoever gives to the poor merely lends to the Almighty Jah who will certainly repay!
ReplyDeleteI wish to also reiterate to GYB (&to other governors) that these are the kind of social works they should focus on. We are ready to volunteer support for good social initiatives as this.
God will rightly judge the husband for causing hardship on people. I experienced the hardship even when pregnant. No salary for months and the evil man would go on air to lie that he's not owing anyone.
ReplyDeleteImagine a family living on hand outs when a salary of close to 250 thousand is being held every month for close to 7 months. The evil governor would then decide to pay half pension salaries to some, 30% to local government workers and pension also.
He claims they didn't vote for him, has he forgotten the fate of the man who won that election? He would suffer a more degrading end than Audu.
Why would you allow people suffer for your own selfish gain? Building massive houses under a short time while masses lose all they laboured for within same timeframe.
The blood and sweat that has gone up in agony will speak against you and yours. The tears of old men and women expecting pension salaries, even those expecting 1500, would never be in vain.
You disregard old age with disdain, surely you won't experience the joy of grey hair with love but dejection and disgrace. The pain and agony of a mother losing her only son because of an illness that required less than a fraction of what was used to train him to final year in school would be your undoing.
The bitter tears of the bereaved and dying would be the last drop before your disastrous end, o wicked tyrant.

Oh dear lord, this is truly disheartening!
