Yesterday's BEP reminded me of one very annoying instagram post i once saw on A very popular Abuja couple's page. The lady had a meeting so made breakfast which they hurriedly ate, she packed the plates to the sink and rushed out leaving the man at home. The man got to the kitchen and instead of just washing the dishes which were very few, 2 plates and a pot, he snapped the dishes and sent to his wife saying my darling wife, please endeavour to do the dishes when you get home, don't rush out without doing them next time yen yen yen. And this lady thought it was a very romantic thing so posted it on Instagram. Haq haq haq not in my home. I respect my husband but we know better than apportion responsibilities as such or being so petty towards eachother. I'm his help mate and treated as such not as a slave. Hubby would have just quietly done the dishes or ignored. Infact, when rushing like that, hubby joins me and even suggests i leave while he finishes up. Same as when he is rushing or busy. Hubby can dress our son from start to finish and drop him off at school without the maids help. Since then, i see her differently like someone that married a rich man and lost her voice. Awon socialite, instagram in love couple with very backward mentality. Stop scaring single ladies with your mentality plz, marriage with the right person is fun and respectful without these slavery rules.
