Last Christmas. I always spend Christmas in my village.I wish I could go every six months. I would have gone for our new yam festival a couple of weeks back but I had to work.
My siblings and I, we haven't even been to our village (in Edo state). When we were little, my parents refused to even explain why they didnt want to take us to the village. As we grew up, we stopped bothering them and got used to Lagos. Only God knows they kind fuck up qwy them do there.
I lived in benin at still don't know the road to my father's village. Been there just once(2003) for my grandfather's burial. But ask me for directions to my mum's village, i will give you even in my sleep.
Two days ago and more than thrice this year. I go to my village anytime I have need. I've lost count. I buy things for them, give them money and interact very well.
"Some of the Pentecostals" created this "village people" phobia. It Satan's inspired way to cause disharmony among people who should enjoy healthy relationships with their siblings/relations. Yes, the idol are in the villages, but those of you that claim to have Jesus' power, why do you fear idols? Besides, if you are sexually immoral or greedy, aren't you an idolater Col. 3:5 Okwa ajuju o. 😊😊😊 Why label people witches and hate them? Did not both Jesus and his disciples deliver witches? Acts. 19:19 Satan likes to divide people and enslave them. Someone is always chanting "power of God, falling under the anointing..." but can't visit his/her village? second ajuju... It is only noise makers that do that. 😍😍😍😍
you are just a bloody irritating ass wipe...as if people dont have experiences to show for it....call your self born again but quick to point fingers at others....goat
July ending 2019 and I'll be there again in ist week of September 2019 and in November to spend my annual leave and December to celebrate Christmas. So i have no problem with the village people cos there's no place like home. I'm tired of where people will always say Igbo people. Average Niger Deltan living in their region has a thing about Igbo people. Note I stand to be corrected with good examples
Last December. Growing up, my dad always took us to the village. If we ever missed going in a year, just know that things were just toooo tight. Even when the resources were scarce, my dad will still take us. But I appreciate his efforts and it helped us appreciate another side of life. Now, I am also married to someone well connected to his roots so the trips continue☺️
Last two months to visit my grandmum. everybody shouting 'village people' ,I think it's all about mind-set. I don't believe any village person can do anything evil against me or my family members .
2014,chai!I miss my village, village life dey sweet especially during the festive period when everybody comes back from different places but cannot go cos of distance and money
Almost every day, my village is a town.. It's just ten minutes drive from where I live around warri, nobody get your time, so it's not like those typical farming settings, most people there are strangers..
Last year for Grandma's burial. Prayed till the end of the occasion. My aunt's leg locked she couldn't walk. The person that helped to run around for the burial because we are not based there is sick till date. God show him mercy and heal him. My other aunt was always hearing footsteps in the middle of the night. I will never go there again.
Hammer tales of horror lol. But I can relate. Some people don't understand this kind of thing, they think it is hearsay or how some people think. Hmmmmm, shall we tell them? They are enjoying. Their villa nor be village.
Last year. I went for a burial my aunt's husband is still drinking to stupour till date. He drinks till he becomes unconscious. They would rush him to hospital. Will never go there again.
LOL. it seems that everyone only goes to the village for burial. I am one of those village people. We are waiting for all of you with better jazz. Hahaha
I was there from the second week of December 2018 till the second week of January this year. My mum's village that is. The relationship with my dad's people is not cordial not like we running. Best town in Nigeria if you ask me. Same hustle and bustle as any major city you can think of. People kept asking where the village is during my grandmother's burial and I kept saying that's the village. Development has taken over everywhere.
For once I agree in totality with ANG. A senior police officer retired and stayed back in Abuja for fear of "village people". He was murdered weeks ago in Abuja.
