  7. If there is order to the universe, then there is order to the universe..... and that order is God. Perhaps people need a shift in perspective. Perhaps you are stuck thinking of God as a man with flowing white hair and beard from the Michelangelo painting. Perhaps you are thinking that God is an invisible man in the sky with human thoughts, opinions, motivations, passion and prejudices. I don't feel so.
Don't put a face on God. God is on a way more higher level than us....We don't know how he works..Just like a high school senior's mastery of calculus is mysterious to a kindergartner. Expand your own conception of what God is and have faith. If there is creation there must certainly be a creator. There is an energy, there is a force and this is GOD. DO NOT FRET! He hears your prayers. I greet all BVs. TTCs close your eyes and say Amen.

  10. Hello Stella, the tip is to deep condition (mix honey, Shea butter, olive oil, raw egg, coconut oil in one container), apply mixture to hair and leave for up to 3 hours before washing off. Honey works wonders for natural hair, it did for me when I first went natural in 2013. I used to leave my deep condition over night though and you can deep condition 2-3 times a month until your hair texture turns soft then you can reduce the number of times you do it.

You also need a moisturizing/conditioning hair cream. I use Cantu and olive oil leave in conditioner. My hair that I cut in November is a fro size like I didn’t cut it at all.

    1. yeah this is another regimen. Contineous use makes your hair soft..but if you're looking for a quick one, sprinkle water, apply shea butter and off you go

    6. I thought it's been said that deep conditioning for more than 45mins is an overkill and does the hair more harm than good. These natural hair gurus keep contradicting themselves. 🤷

    7. Thanks I have learnt from this. I have saved this comment but only God knows when I will apply it.

    8. 😂 😂 😂 @Mystic, are you me? Am I you? Have saved as well but only God knows when I will apply it. Lol... Coconut oil I bought 2years ago must be really tired of me by now.

      Thanks for the tips Doppelganger.

    9. Mee Myself & I, I honestly don’t know how to harden hair because I haven’t tried it personally but I know hair breakage could be because you are due for a trim, stress, dryness or you do hairstyles that are too hard/tight on your hair like twists hence the breakage. Before you comb, sprinkle some water and use a wide tooth comb then start from the tip before working comb in to the bottom. Find a good hair product and stick to it. Please do not use hair dryer on natural hair, after wash let it dry off on its own.

Stella Melody, yes that works. Basically, my tips above are for DIY home made. There are some products that claim to have all these contents so no need to turn do the above if you can buy them.

Cyclone, to be honest there is no one rule. Sometimes, hair texture matters as well as genetics. I haven’t deep conditioned my hair this year and it’s not hard but when I first went natural, combs break when I use them. Now I apply dark and lovely, Cantu and Olive oil religiously so I guess they help too. Also above tip shouldn’t be done every time, it’s for Stella and should be used like I said for starters but once hair takes in the moisture she doesn’t have to do it often or at all. There’s 4C, 4B, 3C etc. type hair just find what works for you. I kept my deep condition overnight when it was needed and it worked great.

    12. Anon 8:32, please just apply Shea butter religiously and then water when you want to comb for your 3 year old. I have only tried these things on myself, my sister and friends. I’m not an expert but since 2013 I have experimented and tested things I talk about.

Mystic, lol I get you. I have some products I purchased but don’t remember to use but perhaps it’s because they don’t smell nice. I have never used Castor oil, apply Shea butter to hairline. Also, when I say Shea butter I’m not talking about these fancy ones sold online with perfume and what not. Go into the market and purchase from those local women, I get mine from Niger state and it looks lickable.

    13. Stella, like doppelgänger said, deep containing is the key. If you don’t want to DIY, you can use aunty jackie’s deep conditioner, it is very good and it works. After washing, I use aunty Jackie’s leave-in conditioner with coconut oil or olive oil and it works like magic, people always ask me what I do to my hair for it to be soft.

      Delete
    14. Beloved, that’s a new one. My hair is as dark as charcoal but good thing you discovered it’s effect early on and stopped. Reason, what works for A may or may not work for B. Also be sure to get ‘original’ products, some so called honey are mixed and aren’t pure just like people now mix Shea butter with all sorts.

Mummy Maa, I used Aunt Jackie’s “Knot on my watch” once and it was a great detangler.

      Delete
    15. For DAILY softness, the top secret is to add a bit of glycerine (add it to your spray bottle mix of water, aloe vera juice and a few essential oil drops). Hours and days later, your hair will still be soft.

Going natural was my best hair decision ever, I love it.

We are always in the sight, and in the LOVE of God. When we feel alone or desperate about the stresses and strains of our lives… When we feel unlovable or separated from friends and family…or when the grind of our daily lives makes it seem as if God is nowhere to be found, perhaps these wise and holy words from Monica will come to us.  Nothing is far from God.  God is everywhere at every moment, with us, loving us and rooting for us.

Omashola :  Guy is overzealous and too assertive. In fact, every thing about him is just too forceful even down to apology.

Tacha : Showoff and Superficial. Any reason to bring out the twins, she down for and don't get me wrong..her babies are amazing. 😍😍
    Remove boobs, Tacha is empty.

Mike : The whole finesse is starting to wear me out. Lol

Kim Oprah : Too sus and paranoid. I particularly hate how her mouth twitch to one side when she gossips.

Just 3weeks in camp, 3 married women were decamped because they were caught gbenshing In the bush. I weak for some people. Camp was so interesting, with so many absurd things that happened.
    Things dey happen Abeg."

The average man is naïve. He repeatedly fools himself he's on top of his game without realising his cheating ways are inferior to those of a cheating woman. I have always held the notion there are more cheating women than men, and I stand to be corrected. The only advantage a cheating woman has over her cheating male counterpart is discretion. Whereas a man is mostly reckless with his, she has naturally gifted discretionary traits to protect her. These ones up here couldn't even access these nature-gifted female qualities in their adultery heist. In the bush? Foolish women. Despicable clods. Spits.

This brings to mind an incident I have battled for a while to forget. I had a meeting with a top civil servant in Abuja. It was a weekend. I was 30 minutes late for the meeting. I got to his office, none of his secretaries was there. His own door was slightly open. I heard sounds of grunts and the moaning of a woman. I curiously peeped and saw this shameless man pounding a woman. I quietly withdrew without being noticed. I waited outside. After a while, I heard sounds of approaching feet. I made for the office as if I was just coming. Lo and behold, the woman this idiot was pounding was a friend's wife! I will never forget that image. The bitch was even calm about it. She greeted me as if she was seeing me the first time. It was the shameless man that looked a bit startled and kept asking if I was just coming. I was shocked beyond belief. For days, I pondered on what to do. I asked myself what I would have wanted a friend to do if he caught my wife sleeping with another man. I knew I'd want to be told. I called my friend and asked for a meet. He came with his son. I discovered I was about changing the course of his life. Fortunately or unfortunately, the bitch called and demanded to speak to the son. The phone was now on speaker. The happiness on my friend's face was so obvious. The expression of a happily married man. A fulfilled man. They ended the call with "I love you my world" and "I love you my sunshine". That was when I decided I wouldn't go on with what brought me. I wasn't ready to destroy this man's self confidence. Not me. I meant well, but it wasn't worth it. It was now my cross to carry. It was now my guilt to move with. It drives me crazy every time I remember the image I saw. I avoid my friend as much as I can. It bothers him and he complains. How could he know I'm suffering what he should be suffering? Madam, I hope and pray you read this blog or someone brings it to your notice, thunder will fire you anywhere you are. The pain you've made me go through, I wish you in thousandfold. Keep fucking around, your end is near. One way or the other, you will self-destruct.

I saw the rubbish one Mr Ceaser wrote some days back using the bible to justify his misogynist self, you see some centuries ago white people also used the bible to justify slavery of blacks and also racism, even the devil himself used the scriptures in a way to trick Jesus, but all I have to say is Gal 3:28 says So there is no difference between slaves and freemen, between men and women; you are all ONE in the union with Christ Jesus. P.s just because particular roles were assigned to each gender does not mean they are not equal in the eyes of God. We came into earth the same way, we will die the same way and still go to the same heaven or hell.

    5. Anon 8:40 really? We aren't equal in the sight of God? Men are more superior than women in God's eyes? Wonder who mentors / teaches these ones. Hope you aren't high on something very cheap.

  25. If you think you are all alone and no one cares for you, if you think no one understands how you feel, turn to the Father He knows your pain, He is right beside, His breathe is in your nostril, He loves you more than you love yourself and He is standing right there beside you, He lives in you and He will see you through whatever it is.
The key is to never doubt His love for you, once you think of how much He loves you,you will realize that He is closer than you can ever imagine
If you haven't felt this love, you can feel it this instance, all you need to say is
LORD JESUS COME INTO MY LIFE, I CONFESS MY SINS TO YOU AND I ASK THAT YOU CLEANSE ME WITH YOUR BLOOD, COME INTO MY LIFE AND BECOME LORD OF ALL, FROM TODAY I GO FOWARD EVER AND BACKWARD NEVER.
Once you pray this prayer, trust and believe that God has heard you and forgiven you and walk in the joy of the love that comes from being forgiven. The creator of the universe is on your side, you cannot be defeated.
I pray that God's love becomes a reality to everyone that reads this today. I love you. Jesus loves you deeply. Have a God filled day

    1. All these una baseless preaching.... tell it to those dedicated christians that suffered and died.

    2. No genuine Christian dies for the cause of Christ and doesn't get welcomed into the warm embrace of the father. Paul said for me to live is Christ and to die is gain. For a child of God death is not doom it is the beauty of a glorious beauty that you can't begin to imagine. I'm not scared of dying cos I do not doubt that I will be welcomed by the father immediately my eyes close. Only those who are uncertain about their eternity are scared of death. So persecution or suffering as you call it for God even unto death is gain its not a loss if you doubt it ask the saints
