Vetting of the nominees is just formality. Waiting to see the day one nominee will not be approved by the Senate.
ReplyDeleteWatching how the screening was conducted, I will say, this is the worse screening ever done at the red chamber. So shocking EFCC suddenly gone mute over nominees with corruption charges on their heads. This is truly a pitiful joke and a disgrace to the corruption fight by Mr 'Integrity' All I am seeing is a rubber stamp Senate President whom I doubt will ever oppose the executive in any rascality. Nigeria is finished.
ReplyDeleteAre you just knowing that in this government,it is garbage in, garbage out.
DeleteAll na formality naa. How did they intend to reject any of the nominees that it took him almost two months. If he was not given a deadline to pick, he would have taken another 6months.
ReplyDeleteTake a bow and go screening, Rubber stamp 9th assembly.
ReplyDeleteBuhari go just dey flenjo dey go till 2023.
The assembly dey him oza room.
Elementary school class monitor screening sef hard pass this one wey our retired politicians dey do so.
Once upon a time, time, time hemmn !
Not just the legislators but the judiciary as well. Tanko the technicality boss and aeroplane driver at the supreme court won't go against his master. So you see, we have a terrible situation at hand.
DeleteBefore nko? Na Dem. Compensation list. I thought qualification and experience would have been used for the selection. What a shame
ReplyDeleteI'm telling you, real compensation list. NO 'nays' at all.
DeleteBefore nko? Screening that was conducted without knowing the portfolio they are nominated for. What a country!
ReplyDeletePortfolio would have been attached to them so that the senators will know the right questions to ask them. The APC who rode on the change mantra to power, came onboard, repeating the same mistakes of their predecessor. Bad enough, they have done worst.
