Please people am 7 month pregnant and my husband is always saying he will hit my tummy that he wants a girl and the scan showed boy,when I get serious and tell him what kind of a statement is this?he will laugh and say he's just joking,he said he will hit me not more then 5 times this month.....

Yesterday we had a Lil argument because I told him his friends are wrong for gusting about their s#x life with their wives whenever they come visiting,that some things are meant to be private,that's how he got angry and we argued before sleeping.

Around 4 this morning I asked him to please close the window because I was closed and he started shouting at me,so whence it was dawn,i was really angry and I called my sis and told her all what is happening,now my sister is angry that she will tell my mum and that she's not comfortable with his threat of hitting me on my tummy,and considering the fact that I font know anybody where we staying and am a first time mum.that's it's not my fault that am pregnant with a boy.

Now am I wrong by telling my sister and my husband is keeping malice with me.though I begged her not to tell anybody that the only thing I need is a job after giving birth.




WOW,he wants a girl?did you gist with him to find out why?You seem to believe he will really hit you and It is wrong that he is threatening you...To be on the safe side,if your argument escalates again,please go and stay with someone trustworthy until you birth your baby...

Funny enough, it happened again on Saturday. I went to visit a friend in their family house in another town and everywhere was dry monetary. I ate the food they served me with love. My friend ate little from my plate and he stopped.


Then few minutes later, some people came and brought business deal to the father. There in my presence they gave him some amount for advance payment. Then I told my friend jokingly that my visitation brought money, and he smiled and replied that he isn't surprised. 

When I was leaving, the mum took me to greet their neighbours and all of them( three elderly women old enough to be my mother) walked me down some distance. They did not go back not until I told them to go back. The mum is a woman that is not the jovial type.






WOW...can you visit Buhari in Aso Rock and have him discuss Nigeria's problems?Maybe your presence can make a difference if you are serious about this....

As with almost every other thing, Asoebi has its good and bad. So, when picking aso-ebi for an event, one must consider if the advantage outweigh the disadvantages. You must also put things in place to help mitigate the risks(disadvantage) involved.


ADVANTAGES OF ASO-EBI

1)It makes your event more manageable and gives it order: You know where the groom family are seated... It also helps define your decor if well blended. Simply put, Aso ebi adds beauty, colour, glamour and grandeur to events.


2)It Makes It Easier To Locate Your Event:
Have you ever gone to an event and the bike or cab man didn't ask for details and took you directly to your destination? Or have you parked to ask for directions and you didn't even have to ask but got the right direction? That is what aso-ebi can do for you.


3)Aso-Ebi gives an air of unity.


4) Aso-Ebi Promotes our culture and give the wearer an 'on top of the world' feeling. Remember Ebuka's Agbada.


5) Aso-ebi also help boost the fashion industry and contribute to the economy of the country.


DISADVANTAGES OF ASO-EBI

If not properly managed, the disadvantages of aso-ebi though few can be disastrous.


1)Bad Debt and Ruined Relationship: Sometimes people buy Asoebi on credit from the celebrant( most times, close associates of the celebrate) and for one reason or the other might not be able to pay for the Asoebi. This leads to bad debt on the part on the seller and if not properly handled, it might damage the relationship between the seller and the guest(buyer).


2)It Breeds Serving Discrimination: There is a popular Yoruba saying ' o wo Ankara, o je semo'. This saying most time is the reality on ground. A guest who refuses to buy and wear ‘Aso ebi’ may receive cold reception especially from ushers at the event no matter how highly placed or influential he/she may be except if there is proper planning in place.
Sometimes only the friends wearing aso-ebi are allowed to dance with the bride... Yes, it is that bad.


These disadvantages can be avoided and risk of Asoebi mitigated if you allow a fabric vendor handle your Asoebi.
