I have always canvassed for an action against the crooks called 'pastors' in Nigeria. Luckily, we are about to start with the most filthy of them all. Who you marry can either Mar or make your walk with christ stronger or lead to the damnation or restoration of your soul. So it's really deeper than you think. When people say God-fearing when looking for a spouse they are thinking beyong earthy happiness while safeguarding their heavenly treasure and you need someone who won't steer you away from that. A soul mate has to care about the final destination of your soul.

My MIL came to my house in the evening after two years of coming. I cooked and wanted to serve her food and I remember that she doesn't eat the particular meat we have in the house, it was late and I wanted her to eat something. I then served my husband food and told her we have soso meat in the house that I forgot she doesn't eat it. She said no problem that I should bring the soup like that ( the soup was garnished with a lot of things inside). My hubby then started saying why will I served her mother such food, that why won't I remember she doesn't eat it, (he doesn't know himself ooo). I didn't reply because I knew he was angry. He stormed out and haven't come home since yesterday, he has called all his family member and mine to report me. I have apologized to the mum that it wasn't intentional and sincerely it wasn't. He is fond of always complaining about things I do whenever is family member comes over. Things that he doesn't complain about is what he will complain. I am always at a crossroad whenever any one from his family is visiting.

My neighbours are arguing about BUsola and Biodun's rape case. I am just thanking God that my husband is not around to join them . He would have asked why it took so long and why it was possible to rape her in her house and why she kept attending his church. I don't know how to handle this man. His way of reasoning is so .... i dont have the right words to describe it. He says women who remain with a wife beater are good women who were well trained. Imagine!

DeleteThat was how a guy told me women are the architect of rape. He said and I quote"look at the way that girl is dressed, if they rape her now, she will say its not her fault". Well that was the last time we spoke. What happened to looking away? But nah! As the defender of the universe that you are, you have to use your private to help teach her a lesson with corrective rape. Why don't you just admit you had rapist tendencies to begin with? so a woman is responsible for helping you keep your urges in check because you as a randy goat can't control your raging hormones.

ReplyDeleteFirst, I had a dream where my friend was getting married, infact its was her reception and we were dancing but I didn't see her husband.
Second it was my cousin's wedding, but instead she was carrying me over her shoulder, and I was dancing,you know how all those footballers celebrate their Victory, that was exactly what I was doing.(FYI that my cousin got married last year)
Yesterday again, I had a dream where I was accompanying my sister to the reception,( I was the maid of honour) but then again her husband wasn't there when I asked she said her brother-in-law has called him on the phone and he is coming, so we started dancing in the reception hall (FYI my sister is married too)
I pray each time I have these dreams but this is the third one,I am beginning to worry.

DeleteI believe he took advantage nif the fact that he was close to her and her family. So it was OK to assume he could do that. And she the shock alone of having someone close take advantage of you is enough to shock anyone into a numb and a silence.
I really hope Busola and Timi weighed their options before taking this step. Even as a victim, the ripple effect of reporting a crime perpetuated against your person can spiral negatively.
