I wont lie,I thought this was PR stunt to introduce the house to her fans but it looks like it is not.......let's hope that they settle this Amicably......

  2. @stella..doubt if its a PR stunt.saw the video of the designs on viva youtube. The colours are nice...I guess the issue they have is the quality of materials used.
    On another note her price is ceiling high. Well what do I know as regards pricing for interior decor.

    That being said, the interior designer shouldnt have hit back so hard but i most people wouldnt understand, its just easy to tag her rude, maybe she is... but Toke must have really ticked her off!
    I'm also a designer so i know the feeling, but from what i can tell, these things happen, its never planned, like the little ruins in the cushion, its mostly from the manufacturer, a factory dafault, but they scream at the top of their lungs blaming the interior deco, same thing happens with konga or jumai wen they deliver somethg u didnt expect, its all about approach, i can swear Tokes approach was very wrong

      You can't imagine how annoying some people are. Iv had such bad experience with a furniture maker that was even a friend. My own money was 400k for sitting room couch and centre tables. And I was a newly wed. Me and my husband's sweat. No furniture in our parlour for one year.
      Never delivered and didn't pick my calls,later blocked me for one whole year. Their office I know they had packed out cos they owed rent.
      He just returned my money two years after. Still had the nerve to tell me I was cursing him about and reporting him to people.
      My pain was you don't block me,just come out plain you had issues and have spent my money and we talk out a payment plan.
      You are my friend for Christ sake I will understand.
      That blocking must have pained Toke.

  5. No stunt Stella. There’s been too much shade on both sides. The interior designer is trash. Even her defence is shaky (New york bulbs? What’s the correlation?) That’s why I’m vary wary of all these Instagram sellers and vendors, their packaging is highly misleading. I know she did a poor job because Toke hasn’t shown off her house as much as she should have.

  7. Honestly I have never seen Toke call out anyone openly though she might throw shades. But in this case,madam designer should please go and sort out the issues and fix all fixables. Her delivering the sofa in good condition does not stop the buttons from popping. It means the finishing was not properly done. I cannot pay you almost 2m naira and you are telling me stories how nature bent my wardrobe or wood. Naa. I no gree.
    Toke should be on her to get her money’s worth.
    As she see money naa she come waka go holiday and came back to supply nonsense work. Lol

  9. TrI think be told, Sandra is very rude. Just the fact that you called Toke a customer from he'll is enough proof. I ordered some sofas as well for 550.000 and after a year, the thread starting loosening off at all the joints. Did the chairs look beautiful when I bought them ? Yes but are they durable, no. Now, I am negotiating with hubby to get some simple sofas from Europe. I feel you pain Toke. This rude woman needs to apologise to you and repair/replace the said furniture

    1. There is this guy in lagos , he's a furniture maker he made some really nice furnitures for my sister and we saw these same furniture designs on a magazine pricing times 10 the amount my sister made it for,
      Its been 3 years and she hasn't had any issues , most of these big names they have just their name as marketing strategy and nothing else.

    Sandra, I advise you take full responsibility and stop pushing this further. I know you must have been ignoring her for Toke to bring this on social media. Your action calling her, client from hell speaks volume.
    If you were not called out, you wouldn't have done anything.
    The same way I will still call out the photographer I made 70% advance payment to take pictures and do album as well as an enlargement for my convocation since April 4th. I paid on time and this guy stopped picking my calls or responding to his watsapp messages.
    I got someone involved who threatened to get him arrested, he just sent some soft copies and continued from where he stopped.
    My next line of action will shock him! Lanre, if you are reading this blog, respect yourself and do the needful.

    1. I have worked in banking for 10yrs and have chopped abuse from customers well well. Even shouting n all and I say nothing. Especially when I know the bank messed up. I just stay quiet. Mind you I earn well and some of these customers don't even have quarter of what I earn but I still give them their respect as a customer.
      My boss always says this,even a customers dispatch rider is a representative of the company and any way you treat them is what they report to their company. There are many banks in nigeria. They simply take their business elsewhere.

I have been in customer facing roles for all my career spanning 21 years both in Nigerians abroad. I have seen it all, punched the wall, kicked the air, locked myself up and screamed but always approached and addresses the customer with a smile, that’s why it’s called customer service.

  15. I might not like toke, but one thing I know about her is she hardly does call outs. she's emotional hand would rather be passive aggressive. The only time she called someone out was when they made fun of her butt, (RMD and Bovi) and when some dead beat father failed to show up for someone she was taking care of. Sandras case is just damage control gone wrong. She could have worked on it and then toke would come back to thank her online. There is no business without bad reviews but your ability to deal with it speaks more of your business than any other thing .
