Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww......................
To the super and magnificent beings called Mothers I salute everyone of you.
I got pregnant same month I got married - even though we planned to wait for a year.
Pregnancy was smooth. Is it just me or pregnant women have the weirdest and scariest dreams? Well, since I had a drama-free pregnancy let's run down to the d-day!!
It started at about past 2 midnight, I was having mild contractions and stooling in between, I strangely would fall asleep deeply when back to bed, that was the trend until day break.
The pain intensified gradually but bearable as I was doing the staircase, dancing, walking or just being active. I felt the pain growing and I thought that was it, labour is finally here, I called my sis and told her I was in labour..lol..
She had a good laugh and said when labour starts I won't call her.
I told I was going to go to the hospital cause I am sure this is it...she said I should keep being active, drink hot water , bath hot water and lay on my left...everything was easy except laying on my left.
My husband had gone to the market, was busy cooking while checking on me from time to time. At past 7, I was talking to God and laying on my left when I heard the pop sound, I screammmmmmmmmed..
''Baby my water just broke!!!!'' Lol...see tension...
We drove one way till we got to the hospital.. My husband was absolutely incredible that day. When checked at the hospital they said I was 5cm gone.. I started talking to God again...''since morning 5am oh my God what have I done to deserve this.. Oh God let this just be a dream!!''
It was so painful I couldn't even cry. I was just praying God please let me not run mad...honestly I thought I would.
My sister (she's my everything) arrived at almost 10pm when told i was in hospital and 5cm gone, she came in soaked by the rain. The contractions were coming back to back. I was placed on drip for strength as I'd been stooling, vomiting and had eaten nothing all day. At some point 3 people pinned me down cause I was almost hurting my self.
Something is coming out o...I want to push ....immediately my sister ran to the nurse unit but they didn't take her seriously cause I just got there at 5cm in less than 3hrs I was saying something else..she just checked me and ordered I was taken to the delivery room. While my husband stayed back my sister was sent out because she was crying (BTW my sister has 4kids so she's not new to this, they were just scared I won't be able to do this as they know my strength)

2mins later, my 3.2 baby boy landed on my tummy without a tear, as promised I gave the Lord 7 hallelujah for being my strength.
I am 26yrs old and I still cry before, during and after taking injection, so everyone was worried about a day as such but God did it.

Baby Windsor was 3.8 kg and I had no tear. I still marvel at such miracle.
DeleteI have had 2 babies no tear, my daughter was 3.5kg. It depends on your health care personnel. Next time buy extra olive oil and tell them to give you good perineal massage during delivery.
