ReplyDeleteGuys, u see, one must not be a Doctor , Lawyer, Engineer, Accountant etc, to be known all over d world. To think that Chimanda dropped Medicine in year two, for Literary or is it Literal Arts, at Nsukka, against her dad’s wish , beats me. There are hundreds of Doctors & Lawyers in Nigeria, who left school same time with her, that cant find their feet yet , but look at her, no runs, no big-God syndrome , or connections & she’s a known name in almost all d homes in d world. Just imagine what will be going on in her dad’s mind, at d moment. My point is , parents should support & encourage their children in their choice of studies & professions .Kudos ,Amanda.
