  4. Woman is it only this marriage that validates you? Why don't we channel this energy we use to attack so called side chicks into something positive? How do we expect young women in this society to ever focus on anything else apart from marriage when this is all women concetrate on? How many do write ups do men do on how to keep their wives? Foluke get busy pls...i used to admire you....just behave yourself i take God beg you.

    1. Was she being sarcastic when she said 'it's good to package so that he won't cheat'?
      I laugh in Spanish!
Just keep being YOU because your imitation would make him cheat!

If you steal a man for 'keeps',you will eat SHIT just to keep him by your side and you will be miserable!
It is good to be submissive to your husband and tolerate certain things from him but never lose your self worth just to keep a man!!!

    2. You know the reason Mr Salako gave for divorcing the wife was she wasn't putting on make up, wearing trouser, and all that, and the woman said she is a pastor and he knew her lifestyle before marrying her and after the marriage even. All of a sudden, he wants a total change in her lifestyle and all.

Hope u aware it's not just abt the chat,he might be sleeping with them n lavishing his money too...Build yourself financially, acquire assets, save for the rainy days,go for test every 3 months, work or set up that business if u're idle,if u done child bearing, use protection..and who knows ..continue praying...

    2. What is the relevance of going for test every 3 months? If he sleeps around you either close your legs or insist on CD. Going for test every 3 months is no preventative measure o.

  10. In a country where about 65% percent of its population between 18-45 are women the only thing ascribed to them as duties is that of the home.
When we start talking about women been useful as entrepreneurs and CEO's...why must it always be man, home and family matters we as a society always advise women to be better on

  13. It is this patrichial sense in women that's annoying. Why would women feel that the greatest achievement in life is being married and keeping the man. Why preach so much about a man and being with him!!! I dont see men preaching same about women and staying married. This is why men treat women like trash bcos women go about making them feel like we dont have other life options!!! May we receive sense.....

    2. Achless..I will try my best to be civil!

Depending from the home the average woman is raised in marriage has NO BENEFITS

I am married and my ONLY Benefit is sex loooollll good sex which any woman can get off the streets.

My parents are wealthier than the man i married and own more material properties than he does...

My mother is better read than my husbands mom..same for my father and his father..

I had the priviledge of a better education than my man did...

For ladies like myself Marriage is not a do or die affair..If marriage is your ALL IN ALL in life..well that's fine..some of us spend more time on more important things than hounding men because they are going after girls who willingly choose to open their legs for them!

No need to woefully attempt to shame anonymous 12.56 dear Achless..If marriage means the world to you and all the women you are related to and connected to then so be it!

Other women have more important things to pay attention to "WE NO DIE HERE"!

    4. You subconsciously look down on the man you married, that's the truth. And that attitude won't take you far at all.

From your write-up you are sounding like you married down. You should have married someone more in your class or a higher class then marriage wouldn't be just about guilt free sex. Sorry.

I'm getting more than guilt free sex from mine, I married someone who pushes and supports my dreams and career and one I don't have to chase about cos he knows if he cheats he'd have to leave our house for me and the kids...that's non-negotiable.....so he by himself prays for God's grace on himself not to cheat.
P.S..we live in Nigeria so it's not about the government favouring women like they do in Western climes.

  16. Na wa o, I bet Salako's wife should have done all these before his affair with you blossomed into whatever it became. How come you didn't stand in gap for your ex hubby? Considering the type of elaborate wedding you guys had. The last time I sighted him around Agbado Ijaye LG he looked drained. At least you should have salvage the situation as a praying and good wife.

Hmmmm...aye to to,aye aka ma raa!

    Blah blah blah
You still dey share your husband's prick with the community.
I know a man whose wife treats him like trash and yet he's so loyal to her. His family has even cut him off, because they feel the woman has charmed him. He doesn't even want to hear anything bad about her.
Meanwhile there are many men married to doormats who allow them to walk all over them and they still cheat.
Bottom line; A Jezebel will snatch a man WHO WANTS TO BE SNATCHED! All these tips are obsolete because A MAN WHO LIKES TO CHEAT WILL CHEAT!! PERIODTT!
When are women going to understand that men are not some mindless robots to be easily manipulated? Men cheat because they want to AND THEY CAN!

  22. Does she think her past has been forgotten? Bold, brazen home wrecker who found a willing partner in a stupid weak man!
Jezebel is learning work from you in case you don't know.
Stella why won't we look at the messenger? In this case, I will look oh, coming to preach about praying and keeping a man when she that is coming to equity has dirty hamds.
Moreover posts like this makes me angry... Women do this, do that, slay, pray, cook, wash, clean, fast, pursue and overtake; and I'm here asking where is that same energy with the men?
Do all these with a man who keeps the same energy with you and gives it a 101% if not you will live a very frustrating and bitter life.
Why not keep it balanced? Life is all about balance.. Ying and yang, up and down, plus and minus, good and bad. All these one-sided admonishing does nothing but breeds resentment overtime.
I weep for women in this part of the world because everything has been conditioned to keep us subjected, submissive to the grave, turned us into cleaners who only duty and role in life is to clean and wipe after the men who so graciously graced us with their beatific presence.
Please women train your sons to be better, don't raise badly broken men and then offload him on one unfortunate girl. Men who you cook and clean and make excuses for till adulthood with zero sense of responsibility is wickedness.
Hardly will you see where men are being admonished to be the head they are meant to be. Spiritually and physically, take their wives as the HELPMATE they are created to be, we complement, we support, we submit AFTER love has been shown but guess what? That love part is conveniently skipped straight to the submission part.
God bless my mom! 70s woman who raised Godly men that know how a wife and mother of their kids should be treated like. Men who see no big deal in cooking, cleaning, taking care of their children, holding themselves to a higher sense of responsibility knowing that whatever they do will rub off on their marriage.

Madam Foluke enjoy your marriage on your knees alone. I prefer one that I kneel together in the place of prayer with my husband.

    3. Just one small(but mighty correction). The submission is for both partners not just the wife. Verse 21 says "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God". It's the skipping of verse 21 and starting from verse 22 that has cost many their wellbeing

  24. Foluke no annoy someone this cold afternoon o. Shebi it's said stolen bread tastes sweeter?
So you said kneel down and fire prayers as a wife? You too are firing prayer over stolen bread? Issit not sweet again? You will now understand that a man who don't want to stay will not. You saw a man having marital issues, a man with wandering eyes, an oju kokoro man and fiam like all those home movies that you act and roll that okpolo eyes of yours you dived into his life, pushed away another woman and sat down to occupy and here you are acting like santa nwa egbe to tell us about standing in the place of prayer? You think his former wife didn't do all that? You think you are better than her? It's people like that nasty mouth fair actress that fits someone like you. Shebi she washed and hung you out to dry sometime ago? Taa gerraout.
Mgbo Stella, in this case no vex we go look the messenger before we accept the message. No one wants to hear any sanctimonious preaching dripping down from soiled lips! We all saw that woman pains when you were gallivanting about with her tolotolo husband, now the shoe don dey pinch abi? Na you go pray na you go tire so get ready oh! You lose them the same way you get them so don't think you're special.
Next time, reduce that ya makeup, man shall not live by make-up alone but by doing the right thing😝
I've never trolled before but for you, imma make an exception.
