If i say hello, he responds though. Pls dont preach, i love him tho hes married. He babysits wen hes home on those off days as his wife works dem days only. Why cant he say hello since hes just with kids. Does he love me?

SO LONG A SWEET GIST

All these men that are looking for very beautiful wives to marry, You would love them from the depth of your heart and they end up going for trophy wives, then start looking to find happiness outside it. I'm not beefing sha, the footballer, Emenike just reminds me of the man i dated and just broke up with, they look alike, except his taller and Macho.. Imagine dude dated this very pretty girl i know back from school, we all graduated from the same University, but he moved abroad afterwards.

Some months into the relationship, he bought a ring to engage her, meanwhile babe already had eyes on another guy in the same abroad and he was humiliated. This babe gave him some clothes she made to take to her man in the UK when he visited her in Naija, just imagine that kinda insult! When he went to deliver it, turns out he knows the guy & that's how he found out they were getting married. He said his feelings for her died immediately after that incident, then he stopped contacting or answering her calls. I'm wondering, is that how love works? Mtcheew!

We reconnected and started dating recently, we fell madly in love with each other, and it wasn't surprising because its been in the pipeline anyway. Back in school, we were good friends, we kinda made out one beautiful evening like that, i slept over @his house but we didn't have sex.. We were together for a year plus before i asked him what he actually wanted from me now. I didn't ask out of desperation though, during the course of our relationship, his ex called and told him she took in while they were together and left town to go give birth.

He ran DNA test on the baby girl and discovered she's his. After the discovery, things between us started to change, i noticed he was no longer as enthusiastic about our relationship as before and i needed to know my stand in his life, considering i already had deep feelings for him. Guess what his response was... 'He wants the best of both worlds' and that i should stick with him till my Husband comes along while he tries to fix the relationship between him and baby mama, so she doesn't make life with his daughter a difficult one. I felt so worthless, like i was the dispensable one.

Or maybe he felt i didn't look like his type of woman, he always asked me why i didn't like to put on some make up. Its not even like i'm ugly oo, i'm a natural fine lady. He probably just likes them flashy. I'd be asleep and open my eyes to someone staring deeply @me and smiling. He would then say 'baby you re truly beautiful', i'm like why then do you keep insisting i make up?dude was just confused.

Anyway, i told him i couldn't stick to that arrangement, as it would cause confusion for me by the time i meet another person.. Told him i needed space to heal from this and begged him not to come back with emotional blackmails or manipulations because he was already asking why i wanted to just leave like that. did he want me to put up a fight?! i just dont get it. .We parted ways, he left back for the UK, 2 weeks later, he started calling again, sent a mail apologizing for making me feel bad about that conversation we had. I knew he was looking for a way to pull me back in, we both fell seriously for each other. I cried those two weeks, every night, like never before, i'm sure he was suffering emotionally too. I thought to myself, if i respond going with how i feel about him now, i'd fall back into his proposed trap and stay stuck there. So, i responded saying 'its okay, i'm glad we talked about it'. He didn't reply again and didn't call back either.

Who knows? tomorrow now, we'll hear he's getting married to some flashy lady, maybe even a celebrity. Would it surprise me? Nope! I know his type, he's fussy about things and only a woman who truly loves him can understand him very well, if not, they'd be easily turned off.. I fell in love with him naturally because i could relate to his life experiences, we had a similar family background and upbringing, we even think alike, the same kinda mentality, the way we view the world, live our lives by the same principles, which made our relationship a very smooth sail, with mutual respect and deep affections all present. Sometimes i look at him and i'm almost teary, remembering things he's been through, i liked him that much, i knew he was the man for me. I knew i could never stay mad @him for long, and fortunately, these feelings were mutual, i could feel his love for me too, his body language, the way he looks at me,how he treats me, even calls me 'Otuto'm' meaning 'My sweetness'. everything just felt right.. Then i'm asking myself now, What da heck could he possibly want from another woman???!! Why would he want to let another man take me away from him??!

I sha made up my mind to leave before he breaks my heart into pieces with his Oliver twist mindset, and possibly give a blow to my self esteem.. Its quite painful sha, wonder when i'd totally get over this. By the grace of God, soonish! I hope he finds happiness with the whichever woman he chooses afterwards.

Sadly, most men just want a woman they can flaunt, not one they can live happily live with. Like the beauty, or is it the friends or the society they crave validation from would give them the desired love they need for life. You leave a woman that can help make your life beautiful and colorful, then go for trophies.. It's well... I'm sorry for this epistle, just went down memory lane after reading the post about Emenike and his Queen.

I'm truly sorry i had to vent here. I even had tears rolling down my cheeks as i was typing this. I hope this beautiful wife of Emenike loves and appreciates him from depth of her heart. Men are babies at heart and if you cant give them the love they need, please stay away from them, so they can settle with the rib of their ribs. Dont just accept them because they are wealthy, life is way beyond that. I wish the couple good luck!

Na waaaaaaaaaaaaah

TEEJAYS CORNER
A PRAYING FAMILY...

Growing up as a kid, my parents would always wake us up very early in the morning for prayers, and at night before going to bed, we also pray as well. Mine was a Christian home that believe so much in prayers and service to God.

The togetherness in prayers unites us as a family, and a confirmation of the saying, "A family that prays together, stays together".

Do Christian families still pray together these days? It will shock you to find out that some parents don't even pray, let alone bringing the family together in prayers. A praying family is a winning family, and can be liken to that bunch of brooms you can't break when tied together.

Most of us today survived the hurdles of life and became successful as a result of prayers said on our heads by our parents many years ago when we were still young and tender.

I encourage every young Christian families to unite together in prayers and imbibe moral values among family members. No matter how busy our schedule may be or how tired we may be after the days work, a little time in prayer will do just good for the family as a union, for this prayers drives away evil plans and mechanization of the enemies.

Preach it!!!!

  30. It was daybreak already as I walked the streets with the second keg of water on my head. A bright and beautiful Sunday morning it was, two sundays after Easter 2019. There was more movement on the streets now, the bread hawkers chanting 'Your butter bread!' The pap hawker too followed with 'erogi epoko', people sitting in groups of threes and fours in front of their houses.

I noticed unusually long stares following me and wondered what could be the cause. 'A new face in the neighbourhood perhaps? Oh! I remember now! I am wearing shorts' I thought. I wore black shorts and a yellow T-shirt. Such sights may not be common here judging from the stares coming from even women too. I quickened my steps.

Finally, I could see my gate. Standing in front of it with one other man was uncle Rat Eater from the previous night, I later leant they call him HOD. He was buying bread from a hawker.
I greeted them as I approached. They both replied 'good morning sister'. HOD stared at my legs and with a wide grin, he said:
'Happy Sunday sister, come collect bread na, oya madam put #50 butter for this one make you give her'.
'Don't bother sir, thank you very much sir' I replied as I entered the compound.

I almost stepped on poop at the entrance of the corridor, standing naked at a corner was the small boy from last night, the one who turned my 'dormot' to his toilet.
I walked fast to my door, unlocked it and ran inside. Poopoo this early morning! Oh Lord my God!
I sat on the bed to catch some breathe.
    Then came a knock.
    'Who is there?' I snapped
A teenage boy stood staring at my frowned face. He muttered a greeting, then held out a nylon bag and said 'HOD say make I give you'
Who is HOD? I asked, he pointed towards the gate and said 'na him dey buy bread for outside so'
I opened it and saw bread (probably with butter in the middle) with a sachet each of peak milk and Milo.
I told the boy to return them to him.

I had to reject them my fellow bvs, a Nigerian proverb says 'don't smell what you will not eat'.
Na so e take de start, he will keep buying things for me and then 'one day one day, monkey go enter market e no go come back'.

After the boy left, I reminisced on what my legs had done for me since I became an adult. They would say 'oh! fine legs, come take one malt and fried turkey, come order for anything you like, oh don't bother, I've paid for you' etc.
I locked my door, held my two legs and prayed
"My legs, my legs! I command you as from this day, you shall only attract good job, divine connection without trouble, favours without strange demands, God fearing people.
Oh my legs! I command you today to stop attracting bread and tea, rat eaters, helpers with strange conditions, rice and salad, malt and fried turkey, kunnu and zobo in Jesus Mighty name Amen'

    Thanks all for your encouragement.

Enjoy the rest of your day

  31. He wasn't forced to marry the other lady. He had a choice of accepting and taking responsibility for the child while he marries you. Obviously you weren't his choice of woman. The fact he wanted you to apply make up and all shows you might not be beautiful enough for him. Forget all the zeeworld scene you guys were acting,no be man? Don't worry God will give you the best man your heart desires.... As for you side rag, aye ma ni ka o,aye ma buru o see what they done to you self esteem. 32. Lol @ praying family. That a family prays together doesn't mean they'll stay together or that they should. They should also imbibe what they're reading in the Bible in their morning and night devotions. Some pastors that are abusing and raping their children and house-help while the wife pretends not to see, they also pray together.

Poster with an ex that wants to be his ex. May you not continue to yearn for a Saul when David is about to come (1 Sam 16). Some of the relationships we enter, is not for us oh. Some are the ones we enter by ourselves, some are the Saul that God allows to hold us cos David isn't ready. Saul isn't a bad person but s/he's not "the one". Before my husband arrived, I was in one situationship that I look back and can only describe as Saul. I thank God that I didn't sleep with him, dude would have ruined my life. Yet, a relationship with him made sense cos he ticked many boxes I thought were important. The day I told God that I let go of what is not for me, that I'll accept whoever He sends is the day my husband came. In fact, he approached me barely two hours later. I was shocked. Hubby later confessed that he had been looking at me seriously for six months prior but he just believed/assumed I was married. He didn't know what came over him that morning that pushed him to approach me. When I checked, I realised that the time he started feeling funny and I came to his mind stronger than before was the exact time I was praying and letting go of my Saul. I will never forget, it was a Saturday morning. I thought I loved Saul and I was so hurt when I realised that one's time was up. But with this one that is husband, it's like I've never loved or been loved before him, I don't know how to explain it. I shudder at how I may have missed David where I was pining for Saul.

    1. I did exclusive for 6 months too but instead of adding, I reduced below my pre pregnancy weight sef. Or maybe it's cause I was too conscious of adding weight so I didn't eat much. Guess you just have to cut down what you eat. Try it for a start. Take fruits & water more.

  46. So long a sweet gist(a man's perspective)...d dude u broke up with cld luv u indeed but has a different reality from urs, it might look simple to u dat he can luv his child n settle with u at same time but that's ur perspective, settling down might be ur priority nw but he's cld be consolidating his relationship with his child. Mind u it's a different way of doing things abroad, don't expect d dude to work with ur timeline and don't let ur self esteem take a beating over dat cos it has nothing to do with u as a person. Sounds like he loves u but he's in a crossroad where u want him to pick which way to go but dude prefers to thread both ways carefully hence eating his cake n having it, can't blame him
