    4. A man i am not sure I love is asking for my hand in marriage and i am thinking of saying yes but confused.
      I am 35 and he 39.
He has a good job, comes from a good family and is generous and caring. I like him but those butterflies are not there like my ex. We have dated for 5months but he is My sisters old school mate.
My sister is saying I should say yes that what if no one else comes at my age.
Bv's Can you grow to love someone in marriage ?

    6. Anon 14.21 my advice to you might not be totally correct but this was my experience; i met someone at exactly ur age and he was exactly his age. I kept being told dont worry, love will grow, sex will synchronise, taste will match... i would sleep and wake up in a fright dreading my wedding to him. I dated him for 8months and came a point where i conquered my fear of being single for life and broke it off. I broke off that engagement on the 8th and met my husband on the 25th when i had zeroed my mind that even if i wont marry ever let me have fun biko. And my husband from 1st date i was swept off my feet and i thank God i broke off that engagement.

Babe, u are 35. Dont get it wrong.

    2. So going through this, I was thinking to myself “all this is probably written with women in mind but the word “spouse” is used in place of “ husband” just to pacify anyone who might have issues with more conditions being piled on women..... Then I got to “when anything threatens the position or security of a wife... “ bla bla bla. And I knew for sure that this was meant for women yet again.🙄. Why can’t the reaction of men when their position is threatened also affect the marriage? Aren’t they the ones who kill their wives or even go to the extent of burning down family homes? Also the feminism part. Smh. I think a lot of things are right in this write-up but it is also very lopsided. I don’t like how it’s yet again mainly targeting women but stating things here and there to make it seem universal thereby putting the onus on having a successful marriage on women. I can already see men confidently using any one of these points against women in marital situations even if it mainly applies to them, and if the wives point it out, they can easily use another point from this same write-up to back up their bad behavior and excuse their faux pas. I can definitely see through the BS

  4. *FEMINISM ADVOCACY*Kills marriage
I do not support or believe the above, knowing how you want to be treated as a female in your home and demanding it does not kill marriage...only wicked men will see advocating for your right in your home as feminism.

    They forgot:
    *Fork; forking another rod
*Shooting of babies😢😢 that oga on top put there or small god put there.
*Abroadina showing up: For Naija girls, this one executes marriage by firing squad! 😯
*Indomie mixture: Oga on top no go fit fire shot after that thing. Marriage don scatter be dat.😢
*Carrying every family issue to "pastor" when the two can settle it.
*Pressing phones all night in the name of husband hunting.
Eeeeemmmhhh, the one wey the Pharisees go attack well well na that feminism advocacy. Oyibo kporo nku.
Na when Naija (Pharisees) girls offload them husband, them begin dey chant feminism. Make una no confuse o, no be the nkasi obi (consolation) of bitter (ex-)wives association be dat?

If a marriage is doomed to fail, even a housefly buzzing around the trash bin can cause the downfall of that marriage.

If its meant to be, a husband walking into his matrimonial room & seeing the wife engaging in threesome with the neighbour & gateman, that marriage will still stand.

  15. Hate, hate & hatred is a marriage killer!!!
Many naija hate each other, and pretend just to please their family, be accepted & to be respected within their community. The result is suspicion, lies, deceit, callous behaviors showing disregard towards their "partner." Hatred is a deadly poisonous marriage killer.
Run away, flee, remove yourself immediately from a husband or wife that hates u because u can ignore or bear a co worker, parents, siblings, close relatives, class mates & neighbour's hate, but the hatred from a wife or husband is something never to bear & tolerate it.
