They move on to the next woman and her kids. Some provide for the ex's kids but void of any emotional attachment with the kids.
Churchill is a narcissist! But she was an enabler. Truth is this marriage was too toxic and was pound to implode. She needs to pick up the pieces, learn from her mistakes and move on!
She's lucky to be blessed with financial resources to single handedly provide for her child. There's no need to keep granting interviews. I personally do not like Tonto as an actress but this issue with her ex just shows how easy it is for Nigerians especially women to blame other women for all the wrong in a relationship. Churchill has been granting interviews and tarnishing this lady’s image since their break up but once she fights back to defend herself everyone calls for her to pipe down “are you not a woman”, “you’re scaring other men away”, “think about your son” but why isn’t same done towards the father of the child? Why are women always at the receiving end of the divide? Always holding women to a pedestal but never men.
Their son would be fine, What I fault Tonto for is pretending from the jump that Churchill was who he wasn’t. All the lies about him doing this and that for her wasn’t necessary and this is something a lot of women need to detest from. If your man is a farmer don’t come out and say he is a Minister or a Billionaire especially when you can’t verify his source of income.
If I date someone and they end up acting like total idiots I would tell every and anyone who cares to listen about them. It probably wouldn’t go viral but nasty people need to be called out in all shapes and form so they other people can be weary of them. This is why men like Churchill like treat Tonto as well as other women anyhow because there are people who would blame the woman for her misfortune no matter the evidences before them. Tiwa and Toke went through same, so this isn’t new. Tonto is not a swegbe so I trust that she’d continue to sing until she’s tired, you can choose not to listen but you won’t stop her from telling her story.
Also it’s hypocritical for those of you blaming Tonto and telling her to “get help” blah blah because I see times where many of you on this blog (where we don’t even know each other one on one) get accused wrongly here and fight tooth and nail, swear on Ayelala to be vindicated but suddenly it’s “move on” “think of your son” because it’s Tonto. Your third and last paragraphs are the main points. Women love parading what their partners are not; buying things with their money and then lie they are gifts from their men. She has also acknowledged her role in the charade in her interviews, if she didn’t mention seeing him in red cloth and what not we wouldn’t have known that because Churchill would never disclose such.

ReplyDeleteI've seen it happen, I'm a living witness of one. The father is now old, hanging onto the son like a leach, causing a rift now between mother and son, creating so much bitterness in the mom's heart because she gave up so much and single handedly raised a son (an only child) he denied 42years ago and in the court then termed the pregnancy a product of prostitution.
Life can be funny, you do the most for the ones you love but you can only hope they do right by you. May your son do right by you dear. May your tears as a mother will never be in vain. You loved foolishly, learn from it and let it go
Nothing good ever comes from parents fighting, married or not. May God help the poor baby.

ReplyDeleteThe lesson here is don't let ur greed, lust for worldly possessions lead u to hell fire here on earth, as Tonto has become now our modern example of tormented woman due to her desperation to marry a supposedly "rich man" by fire by force.
ReplyDeleteAs an Igbo woman, culturally & in their social norms, she can never fake being a breadwinner or the "married woman" exploited by her pimping "husband" or gigolo criminal man. Maybe the bini, yoroba & ghana women can pull it off very successful, and be faking "happily married" woman, while having serial affairs & clandestine sex with other men, be indulging in fetish & diabolical things to cover up & advance their fake life & scam called marriage!!! Tonto is not made for that kind of life or to go low like that! Yes...she is a scammer too, but her mischief is way totally different from this Churchill's crude manipulative & criminal way of life! That is totally endorsed & supported by his own mother, siblings & family. Churchill is a demon & destiny waster. He miscalculated with tonto's obvious naive desperation, by falling into his trap...to marry him, have child with him. In the end the evil spell fell off & cleared from tonto's eyes & she escaped with her (physical) life, but emotionally & mentally permanently scarred & badly damaged woman from all these unholy relationships she's had with men.
I pray that she finds healing!!! Be strong for that her only child now & make something fulfilling in the future for herself.
Stella, i have an encountered a manipulative, destructive man... when i discovered the toxic human being he was, i bailed. He planned with a friend of his and went to my management at work, introduced himself as a babalawo and went ahead to tell them that i contacted him to destroy the lives of my management!!!!!! Stella, if i had guts like Tontoh i would do worse cos the ripple effect of the damage caused by this demon is still being nursed by me. No-one should condemn Tontoh cos you don't know what happened to her.
