“It is now clear to me that it is in the best interest of the UK for a new PM to lead that effort.
“I am today announcing that I will resign as Conservative leader on Friday, 7 June. I have agreed with the party chairman that the process for electing a new leader will begin in the following week,” ..
from dailypost.
'well well well.....this has been a long time coming!...Brexit brexit and they are not ready!!!
I knew this was going to happen. I had discussed it with my friend in the US few weeks ago when we were having the Brexit discussion.
ReplyDeleteShe shut herself in the leg when she held that urgent election some months after the referendum.
They are never gonna leave European union and now, they are going to be seen as the outcast in Europe.
The bone stucked halfway in their throat.
Ms A. It is ' shot' not shut.
Delete#You are welcome#
We are leaving the EU, and we really don't care whether we are outcast in Europe or not. In fact we welcome it.
DeleteThere is nothing stuck halfway in my throat and I am very certain but thanks for your opinion.
Anonymous 13:45, ure an illiterate. We are leaving the UK "who are the we?"
DeleteIf you commit an offence now: what do you think ul be refered to as? Nigerian born bla bla bla bla.
I pity illiterates like you that the EU law helped in the past, most of you came from EU countries like Dublin, Austria etc to get your British Passport here and now you have the gut to say we don't really care πππ, who are the "we" olodo π€·πΎ.
You think these white people see you and I as part of them? Shame on you.
It annoys me even when some Polish idiots who have been privileged to get their British passport say they can't wait for the UK to leave the EU. They have forgotten when they used to beg for cleaning jobs and catering jobs and were treated like crap.
Anonymous 13:45, i hope you dint come into the UK through student visa or by desperately marrying a British and I also hope you have a proper right to live here because uve spoken like an opportunist ππππ€·πΎ.
Geraout of here olodo buruku ππππ
Better country, if na naija them go wan die there.
ReplyDeleteIf you are there, you will do the same. You're not better than those you are criticizing.
DeleteShe didn't even vote or believe in Brexit but in her Margaret Thatcher wannabe arrogance, she thought she could lead the country. She literally wasted everyone's time.
ReplyDeleteUp there amongst the worst PMs in the history of Britain.
Worst MP really? U speak like someone without wisdom. We would see who can do as much as Theresa May has done. I dont like Theresa May because of the way she's dealt with immigrants when she was the Home Secretary but as per this Brexit issue I give her a 100%.
DeleteWhy is Madam May resigning in June?
ReplyDeleteππππππ
Yeye woman. She stopped post study route in the Uk as well. Carry your self go jare. Rubbish!
ReplyDeleteI wish our leaders behave like this.
ReplyDeleteIf you promised to change the exchange rate to $1 for a naira but failed, resign instead of blaming people. Same goes for security, improved infrastructures, food etc
The Brexit deal that she kept pushing didn't earn her any favours at all.
ReplyDeleteActually, she campaigned to remain in the EU prior to the referendum. She warned voters against Brexit.
DeletePerxian. You really know about what happened. She voted against Brexit but someone was saying down there like it was her agenda.
DeletePolling shows majority of Tory members want to leave the EU with no deal. And the further Brexit delay, the more the Conservative infighting.
DeleteAww, Theresa, the cat with nine lives. Well I have mixed feelings about this, I never liked her because as home Secretary then she came up with immigration rules that affected me personally. However, she fought to remain PM, I didn't know she would survive this long. British politics is the dirtiest of all. Too muche back stabbing and back room deals. Aww, she cried and couldn't complete her statement. I hope Boris gets it, I don't understand my love for him.
ReplyDeleteThe back stabbing is second to none, the Brits can be exceptionally two faced, very terrible trait. I hope Boris doesn't get it.
DeleteBoris can never get it right and I hope he doesn't become the next Prime Minister. I give Theresa May a 100%, she really gave her all into this: tough and intelligent woman. She did what 20 men could not do together ππΎππΎππΎ.
DeleteWhen she was the Home Secretary, i dint like her as well but the UK needs a firm person like her honestly ππΎππΎ
Boris Johnson has publicly announced he will run and ambitious cabinet ministers have fully formed campaign teams in place. Boris is the runaway favourite, followed by Dominic Raab.
DeleteI wish that clown Khan who cannot will go with her
ReplyDeleteVery worthless mayor
I completely agree. Just introducing levies upandan meanwhile stabbings are now a standard thing under his watch
DeleteGod bless you annon. Wish Sajid Khan will resign like him. I font feel his impact here in London.Boris did very well more than him. Boris might make a good prime minister innit...
DeleteWorthless is an understatement. I want him gone.
DeleteKhan is just a stupid man. A mistake of a man.
DeleteBoris did well as a Mayor but the UK will be doomed if Boris becomes a PM. He is not fit for that position, its a shame Theresa May has to resign: she has done really well in the history of the UK as regards BrexitππΎ.
DeleteBoris Johnson cannot do a quarter of all Theresa May has done, he is a joke.
Unfortunately for Sadiq Khan, he's failed his community: he's failed the black race
There is nothing like Down street, it's Downing street.
ReplyDeleteAww...anyway, not too late to leave Brexit. I know she wouldn't last with her Brexit
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't her Brexit. She never voted for it personally but she was doing the wish of the people.
DeleteAfter the senior Tories has told her husband(Philip), to persuade Theresa May it's time to go. Well...well....
ReplyDeleteTheresa May will face the grim task of having to stay in the office while a potentially lengthy leadership contest takes place and the candidates will rip apart her legacy....O'dear!
DeleteMadam May leaving the brexit rule? Don't go , come and die there
ReplyDeleteShe almost broke down in tears. I feel for her. She tried her best but was not enough.
ReplyDeleteTheresa May has really tried and I give her a 100%, Britain's are their own problem. This woman gave it her all, did what 20men put together cannot do ππΎ.
DeleteWhat can you do when your best of not enough?but I pray Boris did not get it ,that adulterer who has no home .I wish Nigeria situation is like that people resigned by themselves when they can't do more but typical african leader will want to die there.
