Imo State Deputy Speaker Ozuruigbo Resigns

The Deputy Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Ugonna Ozuruigbo, has resigned.






According to Channels TV, the lawmaker representing Nwangele constituency tendered his resignation letter on Thursday.

This is coming after members of the Imo House of Assembly on Wednesday served an impeachment notice on the Speaker of the House, Mr Iheanacho Ihim, over alleged misconduct.

The members also elected Mr Chinedu Offor (AA), representing Onuimo Constituency, as the Protem Speaker
