Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday signed his first Executive Order to address the issue of traffic control and management.
The Order is also targeted at fixing of potholes on the roads, sanitation as well as cleaning of drainages in the state towards the attainment of zero tolerance for environmental abuse, including illegal and indiscriminate dumping of refuse and construction of structures on drainage points and setbacks.
The governor, while signing the Order, said there was a need to make some points about issues that happened around transportation, potholes as well as blockages on the state roads, declaring that it was something his administration needed to tackle immediately.
“I think we have to make some points about issues that happen around transportation, potholes on our roads, blockages and rest of it, I think its something we need to tackle immediately,” he said.
The governor, who signed the Executive Order in the presence of security chiefs and the Heads of relevant agencies in the state, stressed that the support and cooperation of military personnel cannot be overemphasized especially in the implementation of the Order.from tribune

Did Ambode or fashola mess up?
DeleteHehehehe, there is a roadmap and template. If he follows through he would be seen a success but he will have to remain a puppet somehow.....that is how Lagos is wired for now

Aha God! I really wish this dirt thing is taken care of. Its a menace really. If heavy rain fall, you will call nose up because the smell is terrible, sometimes the smell wakes someone up from sleep. Mr Governor, please deal with roads. Gbagada is a nightmare with that Deeper life church being a headache on Sundays. They trade on the street, pack on the street and are so lawless, yet they see themselves as custodians of salvation.
ReplyDeleteAmobode should retire to Epe, that's the only place he worked. He made there small london. Jagaban should let LAGOS WORK for goodness sake.
All this journalist self, what is the content of the executive orders?
