He, however, declined to give the exact charges against Adeleke. A police source told The Nation last night that the senator will be arraigned for forgery.
A statement by Mba reads: “Senator Adeleke is currently in police custody. He was taken into custody in the evening of today yesterday (6th, May, 2019, in connection with ongoing criminal investigations touching on his person.
“Meanwhile, in the best tradition of natural justice and fair hearing, he has already been served with the relevant charge sheet containing his alleged offences in the presence of his attorneys.

ReplyDeleteIt is well with our ninja
Trying so hard to rob this man his mandate. Nigeria is truly a joke. The police has become political and a tool to attack and intimidate the opposition.
ReplyDeleteCan u imagine what this country has come to?
DeleteSo he won election fair & square but because they invested big time in their rigging they won't let him have his mandate by fire by force. Oyetola is a useless creature, and tinubu will meet his doom soon enough. And buhari will fall at the height of his power like when babangida bounced him.
It's well with him
