People drink for various reasons; to chill & merry with friends (social drinking), to ease off stress (stress reliever), to fight depression (temporal prescription), to view the world differently (U may call this fantasy drinking) or heck! maybe to calm them nerves.

      U cant simply conclude a woman is loose when U see her drinking alcohol...

      I don't drink alcohol because i don't have the head for it. But i mix mean cocktails. I always have alcohol in my house,if you want drink i give you. Hubby is also a light drinker,infact when we want to do the do,he would beg me to take a glass of wine to set me in the mood. But for where no head to keep it down.

      Well.......Alcohol topics are a bit sensitive for me, cos back in the day my besetting sins i.e weakness used to be Alcohol and beautiful women........A woman drinks doesn't make her a bad person....my wife sips red wine, baileys even a Lil gin and juice from time to time. Especially when shes with me, and she's an angel.

      I think the danger with it is Over indulgence. Alcohol is quite addictive,a glass can easily turn to a bottle can easily turn to a crate etc.

      A lady also has to use her discretion, it might not be wise to go out on a first date and drink a brewery in front of a person you barely know, nigerian men funny atimes. When y'all are more at ease after spending time together you can reveal your true colours

      Also if you know that you don't have the self control required to drink and behave properly then don't even get started.

      Besides there are certain levels you get to as a Christian where you choose not to drink anymore. Life is a work in progress. I am getting to that stage. I havnt touched Alcohol in months...

      I fit sip a bit 2moro friday tho...me and Wifey most prolly be hanging out.

      The first time I took alcohol it was Smirnoff ice and I took about 7Cans and didn't feel anything because I was helping with wedding logistics so I was on my feet walking about while drinking the Smirnoff ice.

      It was when I requested the 8th can that my cousin told me the stuff was alcoholic...I don't react to alcohol.

      I take my Vodka naked and cock tails without bothering who is looking at me when i am hanging out... But because of judgemental people I keep my alcohol intake very moderate,but when I am in my house I can take a whole brewery and I don't get tipsy or drunk....so if you judge a girl because she takes alcohol then you will miss out on alot of good people because most cool girls drink.

    In my own view, I see nothing wrong or bad when a woman or my woman takes alcohol. The only thing I will get worried at is when the consumption is very large, as in taking so much and getting to a drunken stage.

    I don't even take above two bottles, most times I am okay with just a bottle and can stay for like months before even drinking.

    So for a woman I think a bottle is good, so she doesn't get intoxicated.

      My husband even encourages me to drink. He will mix guiness and coke for me,occasionally all those vodka, courvo and coke, pina colada, baileys, red wine. The key word is moderation and know thyself, even as a guy you should drink in moderation.

      If you cannot date a chic that drinks, make sure you don't drink cuz if you do, you are a hyprocrite.

    i have been married for over a decade, Oga doesnt drink alcohol at all - he says he tried it as per teenage vices but never liked it as its bitter - i dont drink lager/cider et al - however i drink wine, sweet (white/red) and i also drink baileys but love cocktails the most.

    I dont drink to get drunk cos i cant drink more than 2 glasses before i start feeling headache but till date, oga keeps teasing me that i am the "drunk" of the house

    Is star Radler non alcoholic?
    I took half a glass of that thing and I'd almost passed out. I have very low tolerance for alcohol. Worst is beer I don't try it at all.
    My favorite is cream and American honey.
    Of course there's nothing wrong with women drinking alcohol, as long as you don't drink to stupor and misbehave. It's all good.

    I for one take alcoholic drinks {especially spirit} occasionally,apart from Beer which I don't like one bit.
    During a team building gathering I had with my colleague last year,I ordered for a bottle of big stout and some of my colleagues was like 😮😮😮😏😏😏 are you expecting someone or what?
    Me just bone am,tell am say the person wey want drink am go soon come.
    As soon as the drink arrived{i like it chilled}i poured my drink and enjoyed myself along with a bowl of spiced peppered chicken.
    Note.. Where I do have issues with either both sexes talking alcohol is when you don't have a limit to the amount of bottles you take and when it becomes a routine like an everyday affair.I walk pass bar-parlous and I usually wonder if this people don't have family waiting up for them???

    Reminds me of this girl that went out with her boyfriend and his friend in my area last weekend. She drank something that her head couldn't carry, got highly intoxicated and lost her senses. She was practically in a state of trance and didn't know where she was. The boyfriend had to back her like a baby to (l don't know wherever they were going) and people were praying she doesn't die. Na this kind woman you want marry? Best to be safe than sorry

    Moderation is key. I take Alcohol. Don't have a preference, its either brandy, vodka, Irish cream or wine. 2 tots is enough for me. Can nurse it for hours. I don't like beer except Star Radler. Beer smells, even if you drink a bottle, you will smell like a brewery.
    My ex was a chronic alcoholic, Gets drunk every other day. Will never rest till he empties his wallet and account. Will drink and smoke like a chimney. A lawyer for that matter.

    The personality of a woman who drinks beer can sometimes seem to be too close to that of a man and it can end up making her less attractive to some men. And for other men, a woman that drinks beer is a turn on.

    As understood from that tweet above, the man was attracted to her softness till beer took it all away. Women that drink beer come across as casual, easy going and don't conform to standards set by society and some men can't take that.

    But honestly, it's not that deep. It's just a matter of preference, really..as long as you have a healthy relationship with alcohol.

    There's nothing with that, but me I don't take alcohol at all...

    I went out with friends few years back and they lied to me that Smirnoff ice is for female and I saw other girls taking it out, some even took like 3-4bottles... So I told them to get one for me then, I took that one bottle, I started dancing oh, I didn't even finish the one bottle... To cut the long story short, na cab them take carry me go house, cause I couldn't walk home again... Since that day till date, na malt get me

      Same thing happened to me,it’s just that mine happened at home, my brother gave me Smirnoff ice and told me it’s for women, I was only half way gone when my head started spinning. I had to go lay on the bed, all of a sudden the bed started spinning very fast I had to hold on very tight to a part of the bedding frame so I don’t fall off. Since that day, anytime I see alcohol I pick race

    So I just started dating this guy. He doesn't live in Nigeria but he is around presently for Easter and to see me. Met his mother for the first time last wkend and I met the woman drinking small stout and smoking. That thing immediately gave me a funny impression of the woman.
    She's like 70 and a widow and even very educated. She was Head matron in St Nicholas Hospital before retirement.
    Just when I felt funny about my boo being a smoker/drinker turns out the mother too is. And I don't drink a drop of alchol.

Last Sunday, I went out with my friend and we ordered 2 drinks, one Life and one Heineken, the waitress brought the drinks and gave my friend Heineken and me Life. I Laughed e, she doesn't know that I am the one taking the Heineken, I just corrected her nicely and she and my friend burst out laughing. It was fun sha.

    I know my limit. I never get drunk. I don't like beer it's not sweet. I like wine and anything sour. Hard alcohol I don't do, the only time I do vodka is when I'm playing T or D indoors with a trusted friend.

    There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking alcohol just don't abuse it. Guys who don't drink finds it hard hanging out with girls that do sha. I've met one,, we went out he doesn't drink me I can't pretend so we ordered.     Everyone has their preferences. I take alcohol when I want to, hubby doesn’t have a problem with it.. in fact we have days when we just chill together in d evenings with alcohol and weed, sometimes we even invite friends over and we have been married 12 years with 3 adorable children. Though I’m not a fan of beer sha... I prefer my spirits and wine but whatever rocks ur boat.
