Dabiri, who spoke to Saturday Vanguard, described the incident as unfortunate noting that it did not define the character of Nigerians.
The conviction was the climax of prosecution for the robbery attacks the gang carried out in December 2016.
They were specifically found guilty for attacking money exchange centres and cash machines across the Emirate.
However, Dabiri, in her reaction, said death sentence in the UAE meant imprisonment without an option of parole.

Okay. Hustle the right way!
ReplyDeleteMy fellow Nigerian should stop going outside to rubbish our image. These guys have zero tolerance for bullshit. May their soul find peace with their maker.
ReplyDeleteThis will serve as a great lessons to others outta there.
Thank you

Only regret, no diplomatic relationship despite the Islamic ties. Anyways let them face the laws of their land. If you can't stand the heat, leave the kitchen.QED
ReplyDeleteSo because of Islamic ties, Nigerian non Muslims should go there to steal right? If they were bold enough to go rob in a no nonsense organised country/region, then they should be,and indeed were definitely ready for the consequences and outcomes. In their case, I bet they envisaged a foolish outcome of getting away with their loots in a disciplined region.
DeleteBy the way, even if we're muss that went to steal there,no Nigerian Muslim will be thinking or playing the Islamic ties card you wrote of.
It is up to others to learn....
The fly that refuses to hear, always follow the corpse to the grave. They chose such way to go, and so unfortunate for the pains their families are going through because of them.

There has to be an easy method you can remove me from that service?
Kudos!
You commented as anonymous and had that option? I think not. Nobody can remove you from any service except you. It's just on one post and when comments stop, it will stop
DeleteNa wa... O, this is sad
ReplyDeleteNawa ohh
Deletevery sad indeed.
ReplyDeleteSince when does death sentence mean imprisonment without parole? Abike should keep giving them false hope, oh! They will just kill them and fling their corpses in a mass, unmarked grave. Meanwhile when you tell people not to do something, they'll say you're jealous or judging. Then, they'll go and commit some kinds of crimes in places that are not playing with anybody.
ReplyDeleteAs they should
ReplyDeleteEvery country should do that to Nigerians
Oyall do is steal in people's countries. If its not stealing its begging on Instagram. Shameless people
Aunty what is your problem? Are we the reason for your frustrated life? If you don't know anything about Nigerians, keep quiet and take a bench. Meanwhile, why are you visiting and commenting on a Nigerian blog? Oniranu, ignoramus. anu mpama, aturu..Get away from here and leave us alone. Stella post my comment, so that the faceless opolo can see it. Thank you
DeleteWetin dem gain? Really sad
ReplyDeleteIt's well with their families.
ReplyDeleteWait.... death sentence for robbery... woah!!!
ReplyDeleteYou see am
Go and do anyhow in an Arab country .
Dubai that they don't joke
You think they came to play ludo with you?
DeleteThey deserved it. No feelings for them.
ReplyDeleteTheir greed & hunger for quick wealth has killed them, of all places, Dubai. If youve been to Dubai, you'd walk into a mall or shop worth several millions, yet no security, just the sales person there to attend to you, but your village people dare not tempt you to shoplift a handkerchief...
ReplyDeleteObviously the village people of these ones strong pass.
DeleteCut their heads off. Of all places, they chose UAE
ReplyDeleteTheir fathers and poor mothers, siblings and all who love them! I can only imagine what they are going through.
ReplyDeleteDid they remember how they will feel if anything bad happens to them?
DeleteIt will be a lesson for others. If you break the rules of a country, be ready for the consequences.
ReplyDeleteMadam don't be daft , death sentence is death sentence
ReplyDeleteWhen you want to commit a crime and you go to countries where it is a capital offense with death as penalty, dont you think that you are unwise? foolish thinking
