WOW.....Critically-acclaimed actress, Toni Tones, is on a roll as she has been ranked number 2 on the list of top box office earning actors in the 2018/2019 Nigerian Box Office Yearbook.
The ranking is derived from the total box office earnings from movies she
appeared in as follows:
King of Boys (N231 million)
Lara & The Beat (N31 million)
The Royal Hibiscus Hotel (N58 million)
June (N13 million)
2018 Gross Box Office: N333 million
In addition, she was also highlighted for having the most notable
performance in 2018 specifically for her role as Young Eniola Salami in
King of Boys.
There is no doubt that 2018 was an amazing year for the star actress who
is well on her way to becoming a Nollywood icon. We can’t wait to see her
smash more milestones in 2019.

Okay, so, who's no.1?
ReplyDeleteI know omoni was always calling herself the box office queen. Is she?
Good for Toni Tones.
Why is she advertising herself. Is a new movie coming out?
DeleteHUH?????
ReplyDeleteA lot of you are clueless with Cinema actors because you don't go to the cinema, you wait for download or manage what Africa magic gives you, old movies. Try and keep up with life, even if it is to spend 1000 Naira on yourself. The mentality of i don't go to the cinema to watch Nigerian movies is not just dumb but with so much low self esteem. You will never hear an Ameriacan say the don't watch American movies, they love their country bad or good and sure support their products. You can't complain of having no jobs or business not moving when you lot don't support those companies that can grow and create employment for youths. Support your own, you are not American, our stories are ours, we live it and see it around us. You will never be American by watching their movies even with a citizenship, you still Nigerian and an immigrant!
Deletekai...this anon 18:16 is an actress or actor no doubt.
DeleteLmao I swear same thing I was thinking
DeleteWrong, i am not even into movies, i guess your brains are too dull to make sense even when you are not in the field. This argument of always thinking that if someone defend something or a celebrity, they must be them is not just tiring but brainless as well. Please use your brain cells, don't waste them.
DeleteAnonymous, this my “Huh” really hurt your feelings. My apologies okay? I honestly have never seen her movie, hence my surprise. Stop foaming in the mouth and attacking people for their opinions, comments or exclamation!
Delete@Nmasinachi the thing pain am no be small 🤣 See long epistle ontop ordinary “huh”.
DeleteAnon 18:16, I would never waste my money to watch Nigerian movies in the cinema or out. I’d rather watch it on AfMag or YouTube. If e pain you reach, kill yourself 😂😂😂😂
When NollyWood gets half as good as Hollywood, I might reconsider 😂😂😂
LMAO..@snarKer, You are wicked...Lol
DeleteAnon 18:16, so not going to the cinemas is due to low self esteem? lol
Men she is .Very very good actress .
ReplyDeletesay what!
ReplyDeletehow real are these figures?
Acting sure does pay then.
I think it means that is what the movie made. Not what she was paid
DeletePlease, makean effort to use your brain. This is not her take home, there are the movies she was feature in. Her take home on tose movies maybe not even be up to 1M Naira. The producer and cinemas shared and the producers in turn pay everything from lighting, camera, location a lot goes into movies production.
DeleteI refuse to open that GOT spoiler post! Stellz, call it what you want o, it is a SPOILER!!! I haven’t watched it. Had to go to bed by 9pm, before lack of sleep makes me bite someone at work today. Will watch it on my train ride back home, then I will open up that “spoiler” post.🤪🤪.

ReplyDeleteGood you know
DeleteShe was awesome in king of boys. Best actress in the movie hands down
ReplyDeleteShe killed it in King of boys
ReplyDeleteFifth floor was another movie she acted in that I enjoyed.
Yea... and she had a body done too. Lol
ReplyDeleteThat’s like the norm. I kept wondering how her waistline went from that to this... like it’s 20 inches. She wasn’t like this.
DeleteShe's everywhere in the comment section making noise. Mtchewww
ReplyDeleteTry another argument you little brain, eishh so those celebrities don't have friends, classmates, family or people who just really love them? When you waste your saliva on Big brother mates, are you them? Why can't most of you use your brain cells?
DeleteShe's a great actress. She did so well in king of boys
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering if her body is real cos that body is fire
Watched her in June, she's a great actress, alongside Michelle Dede
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, you get sense? Cinema na workshop?
200 milliom nigerians pay even one naira to go see some Overrated dumb shit because of some overhyped promo, ofcourse itll break box office.
ReplyDeleteThen they get to Toronto filkm festival and they get critiqued of the shitty movie they get mad.
You can't bribe anybody in Toronto to give fake reviews like cinemapointer
