It’s easier for her to say this when she’s considered to beautiful by most people’s standards. Abeg, let people do whatever the fuck they want to do oo.
They gave her hips and a small waist in this picture. Stephanie who’s as straight as a pencil. Madam Shoprite open door who opens her legs in pictures to hide her boy’s body. What’s she on about? If Mr Olumide wanted it she’d be the first in the queue. Mind your business Mrs.
We can't deny the fact that we enjoy the attention from the opposite sex when we look our best. We dress to impress not just because it makes us feel good but because it makes us feel confident.
A lot of women are in relationships where they are constantly mocked because of their appearance. Truth is they would leave if they thought someone else would find them attractive.
Also, as women, we go through so many changes following child birth. Not everyone has the discipline or motivation to exercise until there are visible results.
Self love and acceptance are important, however, if plastic surgery would make you feel attractive, by all means, get it done. You just need to be weary of your medical challenges and ensure you get it done by an experienced doctor.
I am a fitness enthusiast but I'm also pro-plastic surgery.
I intend to get a tummy tuck after having kids then continue with my healthy diet and regular exercise.
I completely disagree @Nicole,what do you understand about self confidence???if you like be the ugliest person buy the way you would carry yourself and even call people who are way finer than you uglyπππ,you will get people confuse...be proud of who you are,God that created us did it to His Satisfaction, you people are using life time filters of all shades, disjoining and combining body parts...God is waiting for you.you are married and need tummy tuck ,madam who do you intend to show flat tummy?what about regular exercises? Abeg don't get confuse
speaking from my kolo point of view, the world has gone bonkers, no be today! We've come to embrace & celebrate absurdity. Beauty & Sex is being chipped in all aspect of our daily lives, you can hardly miss it, the cosmetic ondustry generates millions in revenue, why'd you think Kylie is a billionaire? Everybody wants to fit in, you want to be part of that standard society has set as "Hot"... or you'd feel supressed, which is totally wrong! "Do it if it'd enhance your self esteem" FUCKED UP!!! Even at the risk of your relocation to the world beyond? Do we encourage Methamphetamine, cocaine, Heroin & others? Why dont we? "Do it to get high, besides its your body" right??
South korea is beginning to feel the effect of plastic surgery! We should purge ourselves of such mentality, following blindly.
Thanks Nicole, you have said it all, People should do whatever makes them happy. Life is too short not to be happy. I'm pro-plastic surgery as well, some of my friends/co-workers as gone through one procedure to another, from liposuction, rhinoplasty to mastopexy.I support anyone that want to boost their self esteem as long as you are not going through quack doctors to get it done. I wish I could do gastric-sleeve surgery though, but my pain tolerance is very low, therefore I'm changing my habit for a better health one day at a time. Also body enhancement is not always for the opposite sex.
@ Anonymous and YLE, my comments are statements of opinion. You do not have to agree with them .
Everything in life is a risk. Everyday you leave your home you are take risks. People die in their sleep, people die in labour, some die while trying to cross the street, others die of one ailment or another. That's life!
I won't feel guilty for doing something that will make me happy simply because it's superficial or vain.
But is it not humpty dumpty that dole out cash like ATM. Even if the man na Elephant, Naija girl, including this ATUress go go under im nyansh chop sheet. Ndi Phariseesππππ
God bless you Yaba left for saying the truth. They should keep defending nonsense in the name of "I'm doing it to make myself happy and have confidence" I wonder the kind of mothers this generation of children have.I have pity for them, because some of their mothers can no longer distinguish right from wrong. What moral upbringing can they offer their kids bikonu? Its well oh.
Abi o ! When my head correct, l go come open my korokoro eye, count my money, and still let dem dissect me, because of you ? Dem nova born the person, and even if dem don born am, he must get two head. Not even for a job fa ! People that indulge in such act, are lazy, unstable personality wise. Ordinary Tattoos dey do my bodi girigiri....
You see men whose stomach look like mis-shapened doughlike belly be criticising women with stretch marks and what have you . Women have valid reasons , men dont.
I used to wish for perkier standing boobs. After watching a lady wakeup from anaesthia from boob augmentation she was vibrating in and with pain.
I learnt to love my almost slipper like boobs .
Whoever I'm.with should learn to love them as it is and not compare .
She’s stupid, a friend confided in you and you came on social media to announce to the whole world about your ‘concerns’. Most pple who get plastic surgery done already know there are possible risks. Let people be abeg!

ReplyDeleteBut that's what she saying here now, she said if you must go under the knife, do it for yourself, not cos of a man. No need to insult her.

DeleteDid u read the write up at all?
Speaking from experience...
ReplyDeleteSome do it for themselves to love how they look.

DeleteNa the same thing Nicole and Steph dey talk nah!!!
DeleteThe wrongest motivation to do something is to make "yourself happy"
DeleteIt encourages foolishness
It encourages selfishness
The western world is paying a high price for mere ignorant mortals who cannot know tomorrow thinking they are wiser than GOD
If your son or daughter wanted to play with electricity because it looked fun and would make him happy
Would you allow it?
A boundaryless life is an aimless and useless life
