I just watched on TV Now and the reports states that In Cologne a woman woke up from coma after 27 years and the first word she said was her sons name She called Out the name ''Oma'' and the son who sits by her side every day was too shocked for words when he hear his name from his mum cos he had given up hope....
The woman whose face was partially covered had altered greatly over the years and the report did not say why she had fallen in coma....
What happens in Nigeria when people fall into Coma?
They are declared dead.
ReplyDeleteDD's ex husband sef slept for almost that long. Eiya
DeleteNigeria know wetin be coma? Dem go just give am befitting burial. Thank God for this great miracle. Indeed God is alive
ReplyDeleteFor Naija after few weeks patapata one month, dem go off machine say the person don die.
ReplyDeleteWe never attain this level of patience.
Liar
DeleteNot true.....my father was in coma for months and he came round and still alive today after more than 20 years. Being in coma doesn't mean you are on life support. But 27 years is a long time....wow
DeleteOne month ke one month is even long 24hrs
DeleteFor starters this cant even happen in Nigeria, Drs would have removed the life support machine tey tey,you ll hear stuff like other patients are already waiting to take the bed space self. I'm sure some people in coma would have been buried thinking they are dead.
ReplyDeleteLol...stella you are funny shar?are you asking what happens when some one falls into coma in naija???Hanty it's sixfeets under, nothing like comma
ReplyDeleteOrdinarily in Nigeria, the relatives would have asked to take him or her out of the hospital and only God knows what would become of them at home.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a long wait it must have been for the son.. Me I will like to know what she ate all these while in her vegetative state, was she on oxygen too??
ReplyDeleteAfter sunset, comes Allah giveth and Allah taketh, then burial.
ReplyDeleteYou get am,both the doctors and families won't be that patient to wait for her. Wọn a ti bò mọ́lẹ̀ tí pé
Delete😲😲😲😲
ReplyDeletenever lose hope.
ReplyDeletein naija you can't fall inside coma, you can only faint.. where is the electricity that will power the supportive machines except you'll buy gen and keep fueling, and maintenance cash to power the whole hospital for the period of the said coma. only then can one fall into....
Enter your comment...na wah oh
ReplyDeleteThis is quite tricky even in most European countries , the life support machine could be taken off, it is very expensive.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you for this. Nigerians always finding one excuse to bash Nigeria but are ready to excuse Europeans and others for the same kind of things they insult Nigeria. Even Stella asking about how it is done in Nigeria should know about the controversy in life support machine in Germany for people in coma. This is one rare case so stop this Nigeria side bashing. Mtcheeeew!
DeleteGod bless u anon. E go tey before we recover from wetin oyinbo do us. No be say d technology we borrow from dem na free o! We pay money, pay resources, con pay with our brain and psyche too.
DeleteFinance play a major part in this... My sister's colleague, after months on life support her family gave up. It's painful but they have no choice,i am sure they will have spent so much money.
DeleteWow!!! Great God. Thank God she is not in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteA lot of catching up to do, choi!
A black man ruled America, How to use Social media and possibly Mobile Phone, Legalization of LGBT in some parts of the world, death of Michael Jackson and Nelson Mandela etc.
Wait ooo, who asked me self? Its almost Home O'clock, lemme shut down mbok.
When people fall into coma in Nigeria, they die.
ReplyDeleteordinary to faint self for Nigeria dey scare me..,beforei person go wake up six feet under...
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm I won't be surprised a lot of people that have since been buried here Naija may have been in coma before they took them to mortuary and then the embalment process now finished them up. Na wah! Abroad is really worth living.
ReplyDeleteDo you know how much that family will have spent for 27 years? How many Nigerians can afford that.
DeleteAh! Stella, burial straight
ReplyDeleteShe had an accident while in a car with her son Omar on their way back from her son's school. It is a miracle,Am happy for her family
ReplyDelete27yrs? That's long 😲🤯
ReplyDeleteSpeechless
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteStella, I am sorry to disappoint you. The fact is that Nigeria and Nigerians have been in coma since 1960 AD and we still dey kampe.
