Speaking during a family thanksgiving at the Salvation Ministry Headquarters in Port Harcourt on Palm Sunday, Wike said despite the long drawn battle against him during the same period, he has forgiven those who offended him as well.
He said: “Nobody has won and nobody has lost the elections. But Rivers State has won.I forgive anyone that has wronged me and I also ask for forgiveness from those that I have wronged.“
The Governor said that he was in Church to give thanks to God for his faithfulness in the face of fierce political battles during the 2019 General Elections.
He thanked the Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministry, Pastor David Ibiyeomie for his spiritual support during the long drawn political battle.
Speaking at the Thanksgiving Service, Ibiyeomie prayed God to accept the governor’s thanksgiving and bless him.
He said by the Special Thanksgiving, God will perfect everything that concerns Governor Wike and his family.
He decreed God’s wisdom on Governor Wike, praying that God grants him the wisdom to lead the State in the right direction.
While praying for God’s blessing on Governor Wike, Pastor Ibiyeomie said anyone planning evil against Wike will fall prey to his/her evil machinations.

Mr Project, Rivers State is in the hands of God. Those who chanted the war song during the APC Presidential campaign how market?
ReplyDeleteYou surely deserve another term to consolidate the numerous projects you have carried out across the state. But please Sir look seriously on the issue of security in the state, I know it's a national issue as well but something can be done as well.
I say Amen to that prayer and may peace take over Rivers State.
ReplyDeleteWike knowing his in is last 4yrs seeking forgiveness like all politicians do to preserve their relevance after their tenure ends.

ReplyDeleteSo nice 😍
ReplyDeleteAll this south east governor's should develop their state abeg instead of using their money to sponsor hausa to power abeg. The south east is in a state despite the fact that they receive a lot of money from the federal government.
