ReplyDeleteI stopped watching GOT after season six. I decided to wait till the final season surfaces so
I can then watch season seven and transit into eight without having to wait in suspense for one whole year. waiting can be torturing at times. reason for my own resolution. So I'm gonna shut ma eyes and ears to every spoiler same way I did for seven..
bad news, it didn't work. people around kept re-acting each episode so I could watch it live. its starting again 😥😥😥

ReplyDeleteA lot of reunions: Arya-Jon, Arya- The hound (funny one), Arya- Gendry, Bran - Jon (very weird😯). But the biggest one is definitely Bran and Jamie, you Jamie's face was like "Oh my God! " Bran said he'd been waiting for and "old friend" lol, that boy is creepy as they come.
I was brought to tears in the Danaerys, Ser Jorah and Danielle Tarly scene.... 😢😢😢. Also Sam and Jon Aegon Targaryn, Sixth of his name, King of the seven kingdoms, Protector of the realm, 988th commander of the night's watch, king of the First men and the Andals, Friend of the Free Folk (yes!) scene..... Looking at Jon's reaction, I felt so happy and yet sorry for him. A lot to take in at once, it like he has just been reborn again, everything he thought he knew was a lie... Albeit to prove t him though, but it's still so much to take it.
I wonder how The Mother of Dragons will take this news. Lol
Now we see,The north hasn't really warmed up to her, they really don't like the Targaryns considering what they did to them during the mad King's reign.
Cersei and Euron's scene was funny lol. "I needed those elephants"😁.
I'm so glad for Yara and Theon, but she low-key still hates the Starks.
In all, it was a good start, they mirrored the first Episode of GOT ( Season 1, episode 1) from the music, to the scenes.
A king and queen arriving, and the episode closing with Jamie and Bran. Just like the first episode ever...
Did you see how beautiful the opening credits was?? ❤❤
Sansa also telling Ration he is not smart. 😂 and what kind of errand is Cersei sending Brown of Blackwater to do eh?
Anyway,can't wait for Episode 2. Feels like another year. 😢

Roxie Hart, you must be a Game of Thrones Super fan just like myself. The season 8 premiere was all about re-unions. Between siblings, old friends and old enemies. Yeah you're right about the premiere mirroring that of Season 1. The writers and producers DB Weiss and David Benioff pointed out the same thing. I should have known that Sansa and Dany won't get along at first, I hope they do along the way for their own good. My happiest scenes were Arya and Jon's reunion and then Jon finding out his true lineage through Samwell.
