DeleteSo, yesterday I was gisting with my dad telling him how broke I had gotten and was trying to cajole him into dashing me small change, when the talk was becoming too long and unfruitful, I left him and decided to take a stroll down the street to greet my friend... I said my goodbyes and left, had a quick glance on the window mirror outside and walked away. Just as I was bout opening the gate, I heard my name called fiercely. I quickly rushed back hoping my "toasting" got to him or May be he wanted to give me his ATM. As I got in and "surrendered" myself, I heard, pls turn off the dinning room light... WHAT!!!!!! πππ My sister was just in front of him, his wife was sitting beside him but he called me from outside πππ. I ddnt know when I murmured "Are you kidding me?". He asked what I said and I was like nothing oh. Then he said, "I can even call you from 'xyz' house to pick up my glasses". Me and my sister just started laughing (So he even knows what he did). Twas funny but not funny. Thank God I will be a parent soon. Na their grand children go hear am πππ

Dear parents,please, we know our children can be dramatic, throw tantrums and some times selfish just to get what they want.
But please, don't ignore them when, they start. Check to make sure everything is alright.
I was just dropping my board marker,after the first period when Mode started jumping up and down disturbing and distracting everyone. By the time,I could turn around,she has dumped her shoes and was already tugging at her socks. Her seat mates were calling me"Miss A, Mide is crying",I was surprised. Somebody that just finished solving number problem right now?
You see,Mide is very dramatic,but today,I can see she wasn't acting."what's the problem? ",I asked. She was screaming at this point. On moving closer,I saw welts coming out when ever she scratched. She was scratching all over jumping like a mad person.
At this point,I had to remove her dress,I had goose bumps immediately; every part of her body was swollen and reddish and to cap it,she is fair. I had to switch on the fan to try to relieve her a bit before taking her to the head teacher.
When we got there, they said it could be infectious,probably like chicken pox. I knew it was more like,an allergy or a reaction to something. But the reception had to put a call through to her mum.
It was Grandma, that picked. She said and I quote" don't mind Mide,that girl can be cunning eh"
We couldn't believe our eyes! I just saw this girl go from 0 to a 100.when the reception insisted, she should come and take her to the hospital, Grandma, told us she was going to send dusting powder and truly, she did! There was no definite answer when we asked if it was the first time.
Do you know grand ma,never came until school over to pick her and she was at home. When asked, she said,"that's how she behaves ", end of discussion. What was ringing in my mind was; God forbid, but what if,what if.
I have heard of allergies that can be fatal,if not attended to, or could it be rheumatism? I heard it could happen to anyone. I witnessed it and I know what I saw and then Mama came and waved it off casually hmm.
Our esteemed parents, please, whenever a child is complaining about a particular place or thing over and over, don't ignore. Confirm, it is just a cry for attention and nothing more.
I pray none of us will lose our children untimely in Jesus name!
Third term begins on,29th April 2019.
