According to Comr. Obawharievbo Onajite, despite the arrests of the suspects involved in the crime, justice is not being served as the family of the deceased are still in deep pain. It was learnt that on the 18th of March 2019 in high court 1 Asaba, one of the culprits, a sister to the killer who was indicted in the murder was set free by the Judicial head of the state on the grounds of Nolle Proseque claiming she’s a minor.
The family of the deceased are not happy with this development as they are afraid that at the next court sitting, another accused will be set free by the court as they feel there’s power from above involved in setting the culprits free.
The family is calling for the support and presence of the general public at high court 1 Asaba on Wednesday 17 April by 9am, to rally around for justice to prevail.
The country has failed many
ReplyDeleteI wish I live in Asaba. I would have been there. It’s so sad. And somebody say I should not go to Canada next month.🤬🤬🤬🤬

And some judgemental people say rubbish to people who birth their kids outside Nigeria.. Nigeria is fucked up and a hopeless country!! D best thing u can do to your kids is to give them british, Canadian, German and American citizenship
ReplyDeletehmmm. How about if that Kid has the magic touch that would have changed Nigeria (it sounds abstract right, but its a possibility). Its the collective egotistical nature inhibited by Nigerians that has left this nation in her absurd state. the country is in a phase even though its taking too long to advance, We would breakthrough one day just like the advanced world
DeleteSorry to bust your Emmanuel, but with the present mindset of our leaders, Nigerians in general and also the fact that the very foundation on which she stands is faulty, we could be in this state forever!
DeleteA country where some of the minority are above the law. It’s just a banana republic
DeleteIn**
Deleteand for your mind all the countries you listed this kind of things will not happen there one day?? my dear na end time things, we cannot dodge it no matter how we try, its a promised.
DeleteShut the fuck up, things like this happens everywhere. Teens are stabbing each other in UK. Teens are gunning down each other in United States.
DeleteI can't even imagine what her parents are going through. No matter what there is always those with evil hearts amongst us.
ReplyDeleteDoes Nigeria have a judiciary system. I am hearing that for the first time.
ReplyDeleteSo when Nigerians show support and the trigger men open fire, will the "judiciary system" shield them?
it is a shame that countries, failed countries like Sudan can go on the street and force their president out,
Algeria same but in Nigeria none!
Everything is ethnicized. The Awusa man won't come out even if his supposed "brother" farts in the face of Nigerians.
The country is just a wasted potential
DeleteYou know next to nothing. I think this is the only place you use your data.
DeleteMoney is involved. The judges, lawyers and every other person handling the case has been bribed. Nor he naija again?
ReplyDeleteGbam!
