I find a lot of Nigerian journalists to be unprofessional and very lacking. I don't know where they got their schooling from but they collectively leave much to be desired. I am not saying all of them suck, but nine times out of ten they suck at interviews.
I'm sure if a Nigerian journalist/media person (apart from Ebuka and MoAbudu) is given an opportunity to interview say, Oprah Winfrey...and they had the chance to ask Oprah just one question, they will ask 'Why are you not yet married?'. They all need to learn from Trevor Noah, how to wittingly and interestingly ask questions. Finally I no blame them, in a society obsessed with marriage, they know what will make the perfect headlines. Lazy youth are more interested in Jazzy's sexual & marital life, than in the mind and brain that built 2 of Nigeria's greatest music labels ever: Mo Hits and Mavin.
Any minor issue, lazy Nigerian youth. You need help, Tobie. Though I am not supporting those who pressure others to get married, there is what I term "basic instinct". You can pretend for all I care, you cannot run away from it. Marriage is one of those things.
