Comic Actor Mr Ibu Allegedly Confirms His Sister Allegedly Instigated Stroke Rumour For Traffic For News Platform

You would think you have heard it all.......

57 year old Nollywood actor, John Okafor,AKA Mr Ibu, made a video recently to debunk a rumour about his health condition after it was reported that he had suffered a stroke  but alas the actor has revealed that it was his sister, who instigated the fake news.

According to him “I don’t know what actually happened; one of my sisters was also part of the rumour mongers.
She just opened a media house; so she is looking for a way to make her brand go viral. I feel she should have consulted me before spreading this kind of news and I would have given her another angle to explore such that it would not affect my image.

The sister Chioma who recently opened a new media firm instigated the rumour to boast her readership and attract followers to her new platform.

According to e-Nigeria which first broke the news “We also spoke with Mr. Ibu’s younger sister Chioma at 2.31p.m. on her Glo line ending with … 2135” They further stated that Chioma confirmed that the brother (Mr. Ibu) had stroke and also confirmed that he was fast recuperating, and that it was a spiritual attack.

The popular actor further stressed “I have forgiven my sister for what she did. I am alive and well, my wife was very angry over the news and wanted to take action but I told her not to do so.
I’ve left it to God for Him to defend me.”

    1. Mr IBu ,having a stroke is not a sin. It is not your making and we are all happy that you are recuperating. Focus on having a right health seeking behavior. Eat right and focus on less stressful things before you have another stroke that won't give you mouth to talk. Next thing now, you will start looking for who knacked you the stroke as per naija mentality.
I am a health care professional and I saw signs of previous stroke, your gait is classical, you have a palsy which is classical too, plus many other things. Stop the lies already before this issue turns into something else.
Strokes are likely to repeat if care is not taken and it is usually deadlier. To be forewarned is to be.... Channel your energy into important things.

    2. If the sister was telling a lie, she would have done it anonymously, it was true and that's why she didn't hide her id.
If it was for her media outlet to get traffic, why didn't she publish it in her own mediahouse? Why will she speak to another person and give that person traffic.
