    I would rather read people's minds because that way I would be certain of the enemies within that I call family or friends and be able to deal with human beings generally.

    For Exame Imagine going to the US embassy for an interview with that kind of power,since you know the thoughts of the consular from the minutes he sets his eyes on you, you are better equipped to changed his mind and get yourself that visa that you need....mind reading is power if you know how to use it to your advantage.
