DeleteSometime in November, my boss kept prompting me to register and attend a research- based conference happening Lagos early in january. After plenty drama, I did.
ReplyDeleteNow the registration platform I used shows other attendees that have registered and the companies they work for/the jobs they do. It also gives you permission to contact them. About 2 days later, someone contacted me. Telling me he was going to attend the conference all the way from UK and he would like to connect with me, since I will be there too. I responded affirmatively and gave him my work email and he went on to contact me on there, asking for my contact number. I declined.
After about 5 minutes, i told myself that this is the reason why they say I'm proud. I googled the first and last name and the profile of a doctor in the abroad popped up. Seemed like the person was Europe based. I was like: Chaaai 'A whole' doctor in the abroad and you are forming not giving him number?? I now replied with my number. He replied saying I shouldnt bother about it, he respects my choices and we will see at the conference - which was fine by me.
I didn't eventually meet him at the conference and I even forgot. Only for me to get a mail about 2 weeks ago with him asking if he can call me. I thought again and decided to do a google search using his name and include some initials I saw inbetween (didnt do this before). Lo and behold the profile of a seemingly popular pastor in UK came up. Married for about 25 years, owns a large ministry (for UK standards) has youtube preaching videos upandan. I even listened to some of the messages briefly and noticed a lisp in his talking. A part of me was convinced there was a mix-up or mistake somwhere. But the amebor in me needed to play along and confirm. So i accepted that he calls.
So what happened next?

If not that he did his findings) Asked if I was in a relationship, I told him yes (at this point I was still saying maybe he is a fake prophet and wants to prophecy into my marriage 🤣🤣). He asked if I was engaged and I said no. He said okay. That he is married to a white woman, he has been living in England for 25 years, he wants to move back to Nigeria and his wife doesnt. So he is looking for Nigerian wife cos he is investing in some Nigerian businesses. He would like 2 kids by this person and they will live a happy quiet life and money is not the problem.

Same voice, same accent, same lisp. It was definitely the guy! And guess what? His wife is a Nigerian not oyibo. The oyibo stunt was a lie. Baba is a ashawo man, using church to cover up, cutting shows and hoping that he can have a Nigerian wife at home.
I asked him the businesses he is running in Nigeria, where he lives in UK, what he does for a living. He was telling me all. Not knowing I had a phone in my hand crosschecking all this info with his name. And it all matched - You know say oyibo get database na. People of God thats how this man (on the same day!!) started asking me to be his babe. That I should call him anytime, etc. I told him no problem and said good night.
The next day he proceeded to send me good morning text. I replied blasting him with all his info. See how this man was calling me and begging me to not expose him 🤣🤣 when he realised it was game up, he started denying that he is not the one. Then i told him to send me a video of him saying hello to me (my real name) and wishing me a good day (i wanted to compare with youtube video) baba refused oh! He said he works with the British security and isnt permitted to send videos and photos of himself (someone who said before now that he works in the financial sector 🤣). I had a laugh that day and eventually warned him off.
Thats my adulterous pastor experience.

Delete2) Open the app and select your phone internal memory or Sd card(depending on where the downloaded file was saved) then scroll down and click on "DOWNLOAD" folder..
You can scroll down on that folder to locate the music/video or any other file downloaded from the net..
3) You can also use the "search" button at the top of the app when opened to search for any item at all,And if it's not on a the phone storage then search for it in your SD card..
Any file you don't see doesn't exist and can't be seen anywhere,meaning it's either your device has a virus attack OR the file was never downloaded successfully...

As for the business giveaway, Stella do as your heart directs you. Although I would have suggested you give to those that wants to expand because to start and sustain a small business in this period is hard. Do for someone to have a standing business that only need a little push to take it to the next level, it is commendable. You can split the money into two and give to these existing businesses.
I saw the post late, like two days later. I would have applied for the business giveaway too.

ReplyDeleteHappy Ash Wednesday y'all. So I have a friend a few years older than I am, really fun and witty but she's been down and just in a funk lately.
ReplyDeleteyesterday while welcoming me back home from my lil trip and gisting about the coming election, she disclosed to me how ugly she's been feeling and how she avoids looking in the mirror now because she doesn't like what she sees.
Being a helluva optimist, my initial sentiment was to assure her she was overthinking it and probably get her in a feel good moment with wine. But I had to be real with her and be a TRUE friend.
Some ladies rarely pay attention to their everyday pattern till it starts to shape how the view their lives. Chipped nails and half cleaned nail polish are very unsightly. Get yo nails done regularly like clockwise or keep your natural nails clean. Not everyone looks good on natural hair, let's be honest and my friend is one of those. Pamper your skin and Go to gym/Exercise. Actively control your diet and drink water. Wear Shades on your no makeup days, it's automatic dopeness. Dress up just for yourself and get money. Money is hella sexy and can totally transform your mood. lol
