VP Osinbajo Says PDP Didn’t Complete One Major Infrastructure Project In 10 Years

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday declared that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) failed to complete single major infrastructure project in 10 years.

He said this at the 11th Bola Tinubu Colloquium held in Abuja on Thursday March 28th

Osinbajo lamented that Nigeria earned $383billion in four years, 2010 – 2014, the highest ever in the history of our country, yet Lagos-Ibadan expressway was not done.

“Lagos-Kano Railway and all that is being done today, not done then. We cannot point to a single major infrastructure project that was completed in the 10-year period, despite the high earnings, including power.

“So, a government coming after so many years of waste must be a government, first, that emphasizes fiscal prudence, a government that emphasizes integrity in public finance so that it would manage the little resources to achieve the maximum that can be achieved.

“And that is what President Muhammadu Buhari set out to do. As I keep saying, the president has never claimed to be an orator. He just gets things done,” he said.

APC is just a party of lying criminals. People always talk of Lai Mohammed but all of them are the same. That's how Amaechi said that APC members are God-fearing. I just dey look una

  9. What about the school built for the Almajiri's?. Why is Osibanjo bent on tarnishing the image of the RCCG? With this attitude of Osibanjo I doubt he is fit to be given the seat of power as a President. He will be worse than Buhari and Tinubu put together.

  13. Simple English. They did not COMPLETE! Not start, or initiate, COMPLETE!!! WHY DO PEOPLE TALK AS IF NIGERIA IS A COMPUTER THAT YOU CAN SIMPLY FORMAT? Nigeria is an old machine that has been badly mishandled and you expect a new operator to simply carry on work, not complain, yet you don't want to give him neither time nor tools to make repairs AND YOU WANT THE SAME RESULTS AS NATIONS WHO HAVE BUILT AND MAINTAINED STRUCTURES FOR AT LEAST 30 YEARS. Some of you need to go read what has happened to Venezuela and compare with Singapore. We are simply reaping what we have sowed as a people. However it's difficult to argue with motivated but ignorant people.

    1. Thank you!!! Stella the government is getting things done step by step. Not at optimal level certainly, because the culture of entitlement has to change across the citizenry and workers. But there is progress. Don't get carried away by the cacophony of people who do not know how to analyse objectively. We need to remember where we are coming from to measure where we are going.

  16. He's telling the truth. PDP under Jonathan was inept. Under obj, they tried. But APC has the seat now. Let's see how much they'll achieve.

  17. APC is obsessed with PDP. They can't do without making reference to PDP. Let's say PDP was evil, APC has proven to be the devil himself. I'm sorry, that was an understatement. APC could beat the devil in his games. It's a shame!😒

  18. And yet he is allowed to remain a pastor, a high ranking one in RCCG? It is well
