Why do you think bad news trends more? Why do we forget that we all have some kind of skeleton in our cupboards but quickly order for some popcorn and Cola when someone else' cupboard is opened online?

If you had to put out a viral gist about yourself in the next 24hours,what would it be?

  1. I am splitting this cos i tried posting as one and it was too long..please indulge me Stella

So, I've been reading on your blog some of the "(s)exploits" of Mr. Joshua Iginla, and how people feel for Yemisi. Some are goading her sister (who they say is married to a pastor) to reveal secrets cos her sister's name is being tarnished.

Please, let your readers/blog visitors know that Yemisi Iginla is NOT and shouldn't be considered a victim. She is a wicked conspirator; the only reason she's playing victim now is cos her games did not favour her. Am I holding court for Joshua? God forbid! He is evil. If God called him at all, he left God a long time ago. So, why am I lashing Yemisi?

Because behind EVERY man who has done great good or evil, is a woman actively pushing him. Sometimes, that woman is his mother. Sometimes, it's his wife (or someone who wants to be). Some years ago, a man told me how he contested for a position in Student Union Government in his university, and he lost cos one girl swore that he would lose. I told him, "You didn't have a girlfriend" and he wondered how I knew. Lol!
In running my own business (and even when I do consultancy work), I try not to work with or hire any man whose wife isn't happy with him. Why she's not happy with him isn't really my problem, but it is like very potent juju. When a man seek my advice on entry into an aspect of business or politics, the first thing I ask is to see the woman behind him. It's the wife I use to gauge how far the man will go. I'm very sorry for any ma who maltreats his wife, cos a wife is like orisa that you married and brought to your house. I think this is why Yorubas ALWAYS wash the legs of a new wife before she enters.
No matter how gra-gra a man is, there is always one woman in whose hands his life lies. It doesn't mean he is not to be held responsible for his actions; as soon as he comes of age, a man should be held accountable. However the strongest advocate and enabler of any man's behaviour is a woman - it's often the one he's trying to impress. The one who (believes she) has the most to gain or lose. In the case of Joshua Iginla, it was Yemisi. Does Yemisi want to claim she didn't know what Joshua was doing? Was she not aware of where he really gets his so-called anointing, how often and where he tops up? Can she say she didn't know of any of the at least five people God sent in the last seven years, warning Joshua Iginla to repent? Did she not know of any of the women that Joshua has been sleeping with even in Abuja, yet allowed him to climb pulpit to transmit demons and problems to gullible people? What did she do when she found out? Didn't she sit cute, smile and answer "Mummy"? She shielded him not because she didn't know better, but cos it suited her. Let her sister come out and talk, and implicate herself and her own husband too.

    12. Tbabe 13:06 TBH, there is more than one reason that Banky lost. My husband knows him, I don't. If I had known beforehand and been released to speak, I would have told Banky free of charge, not to do it. For two reasons: 1) while it seemed like a good idea, I honestly couldn't see it as a GOD idea; and 2) Adesua. She's too cute and I don't mean her looks. She has inner strength that comes from faith but it's not strong enough. I'm not saying she's weak cos she's not - a woman that can laugh at a cancer diagnosis, has to be standing on something. Many Nigerian women would have taken off. But if Banky had won, at some point in the next four years she and Banky would have compromised. Her backbone isn't strong enough - whether it's to do with the rate of her personal development with God, or because this particular thing as a career for Banky isn't part of God's plan so she hasn't been graced for it, I don't know.

    14. Anon 16:05 what does higher mean? This is why many people are dissatisfied. This is why many people think they're not worthy enough till they're CEO of a FTSE100 company. So if they're a driver, or domestic help, or have a small shop, or sell Okirika, or don't have 1m followers on Instagram - it means they're not blessed enough. And they need to be aiming higher. Because of our perception of status, we forget that the housegirl in Naaman's home was the one that brought him solution. Or that the best people to ask for directions in London are postmen and taxi-drivers. Or that many Lagosians will be suicidal if all the bread and akara sellers go on strike. Yet, these are people that many will say are begging for crumbs, not winning in life, not aiming higher. I'm sure they would have told Joseph that, when he was in the king's prison.

Even pastors fall into this trap - which is actually how Iginla walked into what we're now seeing. The trap of "I want to be seen to be winning, I must be the main one."

Focus and stay in the place of your calling for the duration, because God isn't under any obligation to keep you where He didn't send you. Elijah was a prophet, yes. But he went to a specific brook. Why didn't he aim for higher and camp beside the palace as per great man of God? Don't move before your time, you will suffer for nothing.

What if God wants you to be in a certain place for a specific purpose, a place that you think is beneath you cos it won't make you popular? Some years ago, I needed a place to stay and I got connected to a single mum of very young children. I intended to stay with her for two weeks, but something I was waiting for, kept being delayed. And I was getting frustrated about the situation. Then, what I was waiting for, started to come in trickles. And it annoyed me cos I like things being done quickly and tied prettily. The third week, God told me to tell her that her children were about to be kidnapped. I refused cos how, why, where, what manner of rubbish is that? Plus biko I have my own problems. When I couldn't take it anymore, I told her. I left in the fourth week. An hour before I left, I remember hearing God tell me the kidnap threat wasn't over, plus the date, time, airport, route and flight (the children were supposed to be flown out). I anonymously sent an email to airport police. Do you know they found flight reservations for the airline, with the tickets in the children's names alongside the would-be kidnapper? The police went to her house, to be sure her children were safe cos the information was accurate - they kept wondering how I could have known. And I will never forget she called me later and said, "I opened my door to you, thinking you needed help. I didn't know I was the one God was trying to save." It's not as if she didn't do anything good for me, but what would have happened if I had told God I'm too big to squat with someone and He must send me to a luxurious five-star hotel? He might have sent someone else to warn her, but I would have missed out on the blessing!

This thing about ambition that motivational speakers like to use, will put people in trouble. If God didn't call you to it, leave it alone. Instagram validation can't satisfy you Even if He called you to it, wait for His time. Undercooked moi-moi may look ok to the eyes, but can only ever be poison to the eater.

  2. part 2
Of Nigerian pastors' wives, the very few (like 2 or 3) in the public eye that seem to know God small, are sitting quietly and watching their husbands do evil. You are very stupid because you will just bring disaster on your home. You'll legit be the reason that God will say, "I was annoyed before, but now I'm pissed and there will be nothing left of so-and-so lineage." Who do you think will suffer when you're not an Abigail, but a Nabal-ess? First, you choose to marry a fool for reasons best known to you. Now, how can your husband act like a fool, yet you actively support him or turn your face away after you find out? Watch how Yemisi Iginla is going to come out looking, when the full extent of Joshua's stupidity and wickedness is revealed, cos she knew but chose to enable him as long as she was gaining from it. Is she just finding out about the second wife or any of the other ones? So, why did she cover it? Greed. Her greed wouldn't let her be great. And that's the only reason Joshua will be able to drag her down with him.

I will say it again, there's no man doing bad that isn't backed up by a woman! If you want to know the woman behind a man, go and touch him. She will show up like a wounded lion, it is automatic. Every woman knows how to get a result from her man, but the average Nigerian pastor's wife likes faking powerlessness and meekness when it comes to doing the right thing. That's the time they're "submissive". Why do you think some men don't tell their wife certain things? Cos they know they're about to do the wrong thing & the wife won't agree. And truth is give it enough time, but whatever is behind his wife's conscience is what a man will end up serving.

    1. Hmmmmm this line is the truth “ whatever is behind his wife’s conscience is what a man will end up serving” It’s well with the Church of God.

I want to believe Joshua Iginla was called by God, for him to send people to warn him, maybe he wanted more power and fame but wasn’t patient to seek God’s face and just like Saul, God has rejected him.

For every Saul there is a David. There’s a David in the Oven already. I pity those still in his church cos the wrath of God will affect them too.

  3. part 3

Pastor Mrs-es, keep pretending to be weak, oh. The destruction already at the doorsteps of evil pastors and prophets in Nigeria is coming for their wives and children, too. Don't bother saying "God forbid", He's the one doing it. After you've gone through labour pains and delivery, you'll watch your children suffer or lose them cos you chose to enable a bad man. I'm looking at the climate of Nigeria, seeing the laxity of many pastors' wives, and shaking my head - if only you knew of the plans being made by wicked and unreasonable people (some of whom are paying your own husbands!), terror will make you pee on yourself. You'd leave those psychedelic prosperity prayers alone and turn into wailing women for real. Or you think you're safe because you live in a gilded castle in the gated community, that your husband built with the blood and sweat of his gullible congregation? I laugh in my husband's native dialect...

    But what do I know?

  20. So there was this gist making rounds on radios, in PH. Its about a lady who was engaged and introduction slated for the following week. The lady's sister came for a visit (the lady and fiance stay together) and in the middle of the night, this lady heard her sister screaming on rushing to the guest room, she saw her fiance rapping her sister after beating black and blue. She immediately intervened and rushed her sister to the hospital. But the sick thing about everything is this so called sister begging the other sister not to tell their parents so that her introduction will not be called off. The sister refused and went ahead to tell her parents. Their father has sworn to kill the other daughter and commit suicide if she continues with the marriage. BTW did I tell you she's already preganat for the monster and her father has also threatened to kill the child if she doesn't abort it. But the girl is still being head bent on continuing with the marriage claiming that after all, her fiance only rapped her sister and did not kill any body. My question is, what will make a lady still want to continue with a rappist not to talk of a man that rapped your own sister. Is it love, jazz or out right gullibility. Pérdonally, I don't pay the idea of she aborting the baby. This is how God tries to save women from long chronicles but them no go gree.
