Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos has endorsed the All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the 9 March election.
The candidate in a tweet appreciated the Igbo group and also posted the video of the meeting.
The Ohanaeze leader promised to mobilise the over two million Igbo voters in Lagos to cast their vote for Sanwo-Olu but demanded he should appoint six of their members as commissioners after the election.
According to him, “we are endorsing him because this is the man that will give us what we have been craving for in Lagos.
“This is the best that can happen to the Ndigbos in Lagos, so come out and vote for him. Hold me responsible for this because I know him and I have seen what he can do,” said.

DeleteDemanding 6 commissioners? Ohhhhhhh. Let me confirm this first before I make my comment. Hian!!
ReplyDeleteI weep for my people for allowing themselves to be used like this. I know it will come to this shortly after the meeting they held with Tinubu. I know they were threatened and they gave in to their demand. So unfortunate things are going this way. I wish them whatever they wish themselves.
ReplyDeleteNigeria has failed when it come to politics. After the broad day light Rigging that we all saw on the 23rd, I am not expecting any miracle this Saturday. It is what it is. @Blessed Princess

ReplyDeleteyinmu
ReplyDeletePathetic.
ReplyDeleteWhere will Ohaneze get the 2m votes from?
ReplyDeleteAre these people speaking for all Igbos' in Lagos or for their families? Nothing will make me cast my vote for any other candidate , except Agbaje. I know they will not allow him, bcos he will still win, just like in 2015 when he won hands down, but they did what they're known for & declared them selves winner. It's only God that can twist their plans , otherwise, they've finished with their under ground plans. Politricks!!!
ReplyDeleteOhaneze ndi arurala
ReplyDeleteExcept me ooo am voting Jimi Agbaje
