ReplyDeleteThere was no Biafra in 1960 (Biafra existed between 1967-68)
ReplyDelete15 year old guys were not enlisted in the Nigerian Army by 1960.
So how factual is this twitter fact?
Hmmm...lets reasearch some of these history o.
DeleteBiafra existed till 1970 when the war ended...probably the person that put up the pic made a mistake on d date.
DeleteThe said soldier is a Biafran and not a Nigerian soldier...and so Oooo yes, there were minors in the Biafran army. Young boys were conscripted into the army as more soldiers fell.
His name is all I see...literally meaning no one should remain.
May their souls and the souls of all the gallant soldiers who died for a good cause rest in peace.
@Mhiz
DeleteThanks for the correction; it existed between 1967-1970.
Yes o. One of my uncles was a very huge 14 yr old. He lied about his age and got enlisted in the Biafra army.
