Good one. Well done Mo!
ReplyDeleteLet me go and watch it on show box.
Deleteπππ I saw the headline and quickly ran to my Netflix profile to search for it. Didn’t relax enough to read that it WILL be out on the 15th. Lemme go and set my alarm. We that don’t have immediate access to naija blockbusters can now see what the hype was about
DeleteWow
ReplyDeleteπ€£ o dear, she comes of like Chief Daddy is in competition with Lion Heart π
ReplyDeleteNope, Lionheart is a Netflix original movie, but chief Daddy ll just be shown on the platform.
DeleteOther Nigerian movies have made it to Netflix na. Genevieve's Road to yesterday was on Netflix too but wasn't Netflix original movie.
There's a huge difference
You’re the only one seeing that. To the pure all things are pure.
DeleteWhat Huge difference...........lol .
DeleteShow you know little about Netflix original .
It doesnt work to your advantage as teh film owner (Genevive) because it give Netflix total ownership so as the producer she cannot get additional revenue down the road through licensing and syndication . Any amount in that will go to Netflix .. However Lion heart is such a boring film that it highly unlike to make any extra licensing down the road
forget the lie lie Value she put out there. Netflix paid nothing near that . They dont actually pay so great . Take that free info to the bank and bank it
Thanks for the insight @ Nkriuka π
DeleteNkirukaπ
DeleteNetflix did not make LionHeart. They acquired the distribution rights after it was made to make it exclusive to their Platform. Bird Box is a Netflix original because it was developed by Netflix for their platform.
DeleteAnonymous 12:40.
DeletePlease tell us? How much did you pay her through your prestigious company, Netflix?
I like the new trend of nollywood trying to break in, we should put more effort.
ReplyDeleteThis is a brilliant comment
DeleteTrue, but the ones truly making actual sense, aren't rich enough to put them up on bigger platforms.
DeleteSome don't even make it to the cinemas.
I've never really been impressed by "Ebonywood"
Biodun Stephen, and the oriahi couple are my fave producers/directors any day.
12:04 anyone has a chance .they should ask their supporters to email Netflix to get the movie on thrre. If enough people request a movi, Netflix will try to get the movie on the site. Many low budget nigerian movies are on there .
Deleteu people just like to talk rubbish without using your head..is anyone stopping them from trying? some people are talented but not smart...if you have not been impressed with ebonywood then you have nothing upstairs...they bring a lot of a-game actors and we see better techniques, locations etc in their movies.. and who told you its only high budget movies on Netflix? if u don't like mo abudu say so but stop being biased like she stopped anyone from displaying their movies everywhere
DeleteAnon 15:06.
DeleteSince you've got so much "upstairs", please don't choke on all that your sense oh, cause you are obviously allergic to views that differ from yours.
Γwα»n èèyΓ n Mo Abudu.
That you find her movies interesting, is your cup of kunu. Mix it with your opinion and sip it in peace DΓ‘kun.
MΓ‘ pa mi.
Biodun Stephen is soooo good. I like the fact that her movies portray real live issues one can relate with. I have seen all her movies on iroko TV. The woman is damn very good.
DeleteThat time I had a free account it didn't make it. My account haff expired I Don lock up from the account. Back to free downloads. The sites are plenty and freeeeee..
ReplyDeleteBabe pls how did u lock up?.. cos I tried they still deducted my money.. so I had to share my login details to friends cos I nor fit dash Netflix money.Biko help me
DeleteHahahaaaa....Me too....We deny the same boat my dear
Deletepls i need one of the sites to download all this new movie.
Deletekindly share
Cool
ReplyDeleteCongrats. You are an inspiration to many. @Blessed Princess
ReplyDeleteIts no news now, there are plenty Nigerian movies showing on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteWhy Lionheart trended was because Netflix bought it over as their original film which has never happened before.
I watched Genevieve's road to yesterday on Netflix in2016.
And I watch Nigerian Urban Kitchen too on Netflix
make i know lie the visual effects of Lion heart was stunning but it was a boring movie
DeleteWaiting for the real biggest movie of 2018 to be on Netflix...King of boys. Can't wait to see it again.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I can't wait.. Serious pressup waiting for that movie. I have to watch it again with chilled coke and pizza.
DeleteGood one xxbarbiexx
ReplyDeleteNice one!!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny movie.
ReplyDeleteWho is ur daddy? Falz try gan
I know they won't rest as our queen trend setter has shown them d way.The noisy Omoni will try too. They won't mind fucking whoever to get to Netflix.Mine is they shouldn't carry their desperation and rubbish us on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteyou are totally and utterly stupid 12:30
DeleteNah....Netflix is not your countrys ministry of social development or NNPC where you can sleep ..there are rules and steps to follow ..simple ..dont always bring tribalism into everything you do it will make you stagnant
DeleteYou are CLUELESS!
DeleteIt is not Netflix original, it will only be shown on the platform but it's not been bought by Netflix the way the bought Lion Heart. They are two different things. To know Netflix originals, you will see Netflix boldly written on the movie when you open the app/platform.
ReplyDeleteBest news of the day
ReplyDeleteShe is just rich and highly connected. Her movies are just over hyped
ReplyDeleteExtremely OVERHYPED!!! Still cannot get over Royal Hibiscus, she needs to put more efforts biko
DeleteChIEFdaay is that kinda movie that you watch when you are bored and want to waste money....No lesson, No direction just plenty laughter!!!
You are right. I was not impressed by her movie FIFTY. The script didn’t make sense. The Dakore Akande character was celebrating her 50th birthday...supposedly she had been raped and impregnated by her father in her teens. Her son/brother looks mid twenties in the film. That whole plot was ridiculous.
DeleteShe is just rich and highly connected. Her movies are just over hyped
ReplyDeleteThe movie is a wack. I repeat the movie is a wack i repeat again the movie is a wack. The only thing in the movie is Ini Edo's figure. Story line is an apology.
ReplyDeletei went to see it halfway through i went out to play with with my godson. Couldnt be bothered!
DeleteWell, wacky or not I will try watching make I get my money value from Netflix
Deletewhy do I feel you're competing with genevieve nnaji.
ReplyDeleteshut up and stop being senseless....is genevieve the first Nigerian with a movie on Netflix? are they friends? how on earth is that even a thought? I honestly don't get how u idiots reason....please give us 3 strong reasons why u think so then we can buy your stupid school of thought. smh at the toxic nature of some nigerians
DeleteKilo de? Why all the insults@15:11. Did she abuse anybody? Just shows how pained you are.
DeleteShe's competing with Genevieve oya hug transformer
Ruth Kadiri’s movies have already been on Netflix. I watched Matters Arising over a year go. The first movie I watched on Netflix 2 years ago was Confusion Na Wa with Ramsey Noauh. There is no competition with Genevieve. Nigerians are already doing big things worldwide.
DeleteEven the wedding party is on Netflix. And lots of other small small Nigerian films. Not everything is a competition
DeleteYasssssss
ReplyDeleteThis is how so-called over zealous fans cause rift for friends/colleagues. The sky is too big for all of us to test our individual destinies. No be only one road dem de follow go market abegii. I tire for Una.
ReplyDeleteKing of boys nko?
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to watch it
ReplyDeleteYou could certainly see your expertise within the
ReplyDeletework you write. The arena hopes for even more passionate writers such as you who aren't afraid to say how they believe.
Always follow your heart.
