Funny thing is that the AAC man won a local government with 96,000 votes against 7,000 to PDP. How is that even possible for a man who didn't even campaign in Rivers State? Nobody knows him before now but surprisingly he has won four local governments all thanks to the military onslaught and rigging. But you know what? Only Obio Akpor local government gave Wike 272,000 votes against AAC 27, thereby cancelling the whole four local governments rigged for the AAC man.

The Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) in Rivers State has accused military and police personnel of placing the Rivers State INEC office under siege.
The INEC in Rivers State further declared that the military and police personnel are illegally screening Collation Officers , thereby obstructing the Collation process for the Rivers State Governorship Election.
The Head of INEC Department of Voter Education and Publicity, Mr Edwin Enabo made the declaration in an interview with newsmen on Sunday at the INEC Headquarters in Port Harcourt.
“The INEC office is under siege by men in army uniforms, uniforms of the Air Force and police who have taken over. They are stopping and screening people. They are clearing results before they enter the office to the extent that uptill now no Collation has been done.
“We don’t understand where the people are deployed from. We are not accusing the Nigerian Army or the Nigerian Air Force, but we say the people right now in the office are wearing uniforms of Army and Air Force.
“If they are not from them, we are calling on them to come and rectify the situation and allow our officers to enter with their results without molestation and harrassment “, the spokesman of INEC in Rivers State said.
He added: “Throughout the elections, we had so many reports of insecurity, molestation, harassment and assault on our staff and adhoc staff. Disruption of the Electoral process throughout the state in all the Local Government Areas with the consequence that by yesterday evening we were unable to get any results and by 1pm today, the office is under siege by men in Army, Air Force and Police Uniforms “.

Two military officers, a Captain and a Corporal are now lying critically injured in two different hospitals in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
ReplyDeleteWhile Captain Adams is currently admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, Corporal Adebayo Adeosun is battling for survival at the Military Hospital, Aba Road, Port Harcourt.
The Rivers State Police Command on a fact-finding assessment, conducted newsmen to visit the two Military officers who were allegedly attacked by Police Officers attached to Government House, Port Harcourt and suspected thugs during collation of Governorship results at the Obio-Akpor Local government council.
Spokesman of the Command who led newsmen to the Hospitals said, “a statement will be issued to that effect.”
One of the victims, Captain Adams, while narrating his experience said, “At about 2300hrs we got information that some hoodlums were planning to attack the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area to disrupt the collation activity.
“When we got there, we met some Police Officers who we discussed with and told them about the security report we got. So we agreed that because of that report we will limit access into to Collation centre.
“Less than 10mins after, the convoy of the Rivers State Governor arrived with 30 to 40 other cars. Suddenly, some men in Police Uniforms stepped out of the vehicles and started shooting sporadically.
“When we saw the Governor we lowered our guards and stepped back. And as we are stepping back, the mob attacked us, lynched us and a bullet was released in my stomach.”
In the meantime, the Rivers State Government had earlier alleged a move by the Nigerian Army, Police and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to subvert the will of Rivers people by declaring concocted results for the Rivers State Governorship Election.
Addressing newsmen at Government House Port Harcourt on Sunday, Rivers State Commissioner of Information and Communication, Emma Okah said that soldiers and SARS Personnel storm Collation Centres and hijack already collated results.
“They stopped PDP agents from gaining entrance into the Collation Centre at ABA Road. The movement has been restricted and free access given to APC leaders.
However, a 5-man committee from the INEC headquarters is being expected in Rivers |State after the suspension of the electoral process by the Commission.
INEC’s Head of Voter Education, Festus Okoye in a statement said the process was suspended because of widespread disruption.
