In a post on his Twitter account Thursday night, he said if his party, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), loses in Rivers Dtate on Saturday, then it means that the election is not free and fair.
The governor’s comment is a reference to the fact that the main opposition in the state, All Progressive Congress(APC), is not fielding any candidate for any of the elections in the state following a court order that resulted from an internal crisis.
Although APC has adopted the African Action Congress((AAC) gubernatorial candidate, Awara Biokpomabo, for the Saturday elections, Wike is of the opinion that AAC does not stand a chance as it did not campaign rigorously.
He tweet: “There is no way that the PDP will lose Rivers State and they tell the world that the elections are free and fair.
“Even if we want to play politics, how would they explain to the International community that PDP lost to an unknown party that did not campaign?”
from dailypost...
Hmmm... Mr projects on fire...
ReplyDeleteTruth is wike has far as am concerned is a failed governor. But since election would not be free and fair then he would win. Me am not leaving my house. Na sitdown look get me sat. Look at the mess he made at that esternby pass. It's now that rains have come they want to start doing roads. But he should be to comfortable oh,we just might be surprised at morrows outcome.
DeleteRivers state is PDP. He won't loose election
ReplyDeleteThe influx of military in the past two days was so alarming, that one will think and ask if insurgents have taken over Rivers State. The show of force been displayed is it necessary? The military was seen intimidating people of the state at different places. I read on how they went to night clubs and arrested many people there at Casablanca and other places, assaulting women sexually. I am not surprise, for that have been their lifestyle.
DeleteJust a question please..... Who killed the 4 Army officers in Rivers State? Abi na Army dey kill dem selves?🙄
DeleteGod go bless u oo, none of them is clean, both the oppressed and the opressor.. Its a battle down there, where the weaker ones cry of victimization. They are all evil fools.
DeleteIn as much as I would want to agree with him, he should also understand that in politics nothing is impossible. He should be careful. Pride often go before a fall. I wish him the best.
ReplyDeleteAAC even disowned them. If free and fair elections take place, PDP will win. APC played very bad politics and ended up short changing themselves.
ReplyDeleteAmeachi single handedly run the party, so his personal interest destabilized the party.
DeleteWhat does Teejay has to say because if na BUHARI you will take it to CNN
ReplyDeleteAs the class captain and senior prefect, my comment is above lolzzz.
DeleteRivers state is very hot now. Bullets flying here and there. Yesterday Atekes palace was raided by the army. This election go hot like presidential election.
ReplyDeleteGnM I am telling you. The show of force is uncalled for. So many PDP chieftains are being arrested and houses destroyed. We know who is doing all these using Federal might but he will be put to shame in the fullness of time.
DeleteMy side of ph is not got oh. Am even staying around one of the strong holders of pdp. Even presidential election was peaceful in my area.
DeleteThis man too like drama... But I like him
ReplyDeleteYes oo he cannot lose the election..
ReplyDeleteRivers state and drama

ReplyDeleteApc just want this state by force
ReplyDeleteWorst Governors in Nigeria
ReplyDelete1. Yahaya Bello
2. Okezie Ikpeazu
3. Nyesom Wike
However, given the oil revenue and IGR I’d conclude that Wike is the worst Governor in Nigeria.

DeleteIt's ever since this man became prominent in Rivers state politics that I started hearing of violence there. After, he will be pointing fingers at Amaechi and gullible ppl won't ask him why he can't secure his state. They swallow everything he tells them, hook line and sinker; like his vehement claim that Amaechi was behind the Ikoyi apartment loot, where he even threatened to go to court. So why didn't he go? Unfortunately, a lot of Nigerians are too shallow in thought. They are easily bamboozled by muscle flexing (gra gra). For that matter, they leave substance and be focused on shadows. One's future shd not be decided on the basis of mere showmanship. Aside from that , I take it that a lot of Rivers ppl are either afraid of the guy or are compromised. May Almighty God give the electorate the ability to discern and see these sort of ppl for who they really are, as they go to vote.
ReplyDeleteThe list is not complete without okowa delta state
ReplyDeleteThe curse of pensioners in the state must hunt this wicked wike. He’s refused to pay the pensioners, salaries are being owed, it’s amazing people support this evil man. Instead he is busy initiating all out young men into Ogboni. The house of assembly filled with ogboni members. God must surely disgrace this empty bull dog. For how long will the useless judiciary be under him?
ReplyDeleteOdili the thief and his wife with their fake pepertual injunction where are they? They should carry on. A day of reckoning awaits them and their generation. Bloody blood suckers.
