ReplyDeleteIn Nigeria, when a less successful person feuds with a more successful former acquaintance, people tend to disregard the basis and support the successful one. Basket mouth is silly. He thinks everything is comedy! 2face needn't have allowed this feud linger this long. And it wouldn't have cost much to arrest the drift; just come down from your high horse and show concern and understanding. Blackface is not mad. And he is not such a bad person. He did a lot to discover 2face. He singlehandedly formed Plantation Boys through which 2face's super talent was discovered. He housed 2face in his brother's house in Festac for so many years. He wrote most of their hit songs in Plantation Boys. He even wrote the song that registered and established 2face as a successful solo act, "African Queen.'' Above all, he has not been able to strike the right chord since after Plantation Boys. 2face needed to have supported his former colleague one way or another. It was a moral obligation on him, but his new found fame and friends have not advised him right. Blackface is genuinely aggrieved and 2face has not helped matters.

Kadiri, this is the best point of view. Well detailed and unbiased. I think Basketmouth is just pitching in on this to stay relevant it's the art of 'sociamedializing'.
