The donation was made as a kind gesture supporting the treatment of the comic actor whose supposedly battling with diabetes amongst other ailments.
While making the donation, the vice president offered prayers of quick recovery and further urged well-meaning Nigerians to lend their support to the actor.

ReplyDeleteAll for vote, it's Baba Suwe's gain
ReplyDeleteNo offense but the VP deserves no praise. If we had a good healthcare system, nobody needs to travel abroad for type 2 diabetes and its complications. These rulers are the MVP of "Asenibanidaro". The president goes to the west for treatment and so do most top goverment officials and their fronts. These developed countries have diagnostic tests to detect some conditions before they deteriorate, there are annual physicals, an age for all women to go for Pap smears and mammograms, regular bloodwork, etc.
ReplyDeleteInstead of setting up a working modern health care system where these things become rare, they throw small cash at the situation. They do not sit down and make policies on health care, education, immigration (Chinese and Indians doing jobs meant for Nigerians , agriculture (herds of cattle eating people's food instead of hays) etc. The youths are hailing their oppressors and thanking him. Yes, he may have chosen not to so "thanks" to him for doing so but we need health care policies to prevent future Baba Sure situations!!!!
